sider mine as my second home, I ensure that I take good
care of the school’s property by handling with care the
things I used which belongs to the school. Moreover, I
always do my best to whatever I do. I will make sure to
be a good example to the young ones by doing what’s
best for the school for its progress which includes prop-
er disposal of garbage which is very easy yet highly ob-
served by anyone who visits the school.

The contribution I could offer for the school’s improve-
ment is the discipline I have for myself and respect
towards older people. I would be a good role model out-
side who act appropriately in a certain situation for I am
bringing the name of the school wherever we go. I

will hone my skills and talents to promote the name of

its first ever ―Open House‖
on September 1, 2019. It is
one of the unforgettable
memories a student can
have. It is also part of the
22nd Foundation Day of
CMLI. Each room was used
by the different year levels
as their booth. It is where
the students could showcase
how creative they can be.
Everyone was invited in this
celebration.
The celebration start-
ed at 8:00 AM in the morn-
ing. They prepared some
games for the little kids and
a free check up for the old
ones. The booth of the ele-
mentary department was an
art gallery. It was so nice
and they were very creative

It was a close fight
between Casa Marie
Learning Institute and
Diaz College volleyball
girls. The game was held
at Tanjay City Sports
Complex on October 25,
2019. It was agreed that
each set will have a raise
to 21 game. Diaz College
won with a 2-0 set lead.
In the first set, Diaz
College was leading but
because of the errors they
gained such as their re-
ception and their rotation

able to take the lead. Sur-
prisingly they lost their
focus and they also had
several service errors
when the game of first set
was almost going to end.
Because of this Diaz Col-
lege surpassed their score
and CMLI lost the first
set. The score was 18-21
in the lead of Diaz Col-
lege. During the second
set, Casa Marie Learning
Institute was on fire!
Their attacks, serves,
blocks, and reception
were all good which
caused them to lead the
game but when Diaz Col-
lege was almost nearing
their score, with an un-
known reason they sud-
denly lost their reception,
focus and their attacks
were consecutively fail-
ing. Errors after errors
and Diaz College claimed
the victory with a score of
19-21.

Worry

It’s been so long
since climate change be-
came a nuisance, but no
one seems to push hard
enough to make it stop.
Didn’t you notice? Your
once cold classroom has
become hotter than ever,
but most likely you didn’t
since you haven’t even
been going to school due
to the intensity of ty-
phoons increase. If you
can segregate your gar-
bage, so can everyone
else.
While global tem-
peratures worsen students
seem to maintain their
bright smiles due to the
frequent class suspen-
sions. According to their
social media posts, stu-
dents seem quite joyful to
the news. Even a drop of
rain could send students
waiting to hear a word
from their governor. Not
only are students being
affected, farmers as well
are also victims of climate
change. Food will become
the first to be affected as
well as temperature and
water level.
The dangers of climate
change are no longer for-
eign to us and will soon
become the most talked
about issue in our society.
Every piece of plastic will
destroy the earth little by
little and it is not only
affecting wildlife but also
the lives of the people we
love the most. The next
time you think about lit-
tering just remember
whose life you’ll affect,
because it might just be
your own.
