Dear Sagheer Ahmad,

QIL needed a used moisture/oil free Air Compressor for its Hattar
Plant. This Compressor could have been a valuable addition due to the reason for its usage as a
stand-by with the new Compressor.

In March, 2020 we explored a used Compressor at your Store. You were supposed to bring,
install and commission the machine as per design parameters given in its manual.

Compressor was shifted to Hattar in March. After installation of Compressor & its pipes, your
team was asked to commission the Compressor.  

 In April your team came to the site for start-up. Unfortunately, the Compressor could not be
commissioned even after 3 attempts due to problem in the Motor. Motor’s winding had a
problem for which you had decided to get it rewind. We referred you to a local winding
contractor. You negotiated with winding contractor at a price of Rs. 65000 ~ 70000 & the job
was done.

(Winding contractor fee is yet to be paid by M/s Nazeer Machinery as per agreement)

After rewinding of the Motor, Compressor was restarted in April, 2020, but this time it was
drawing much higher current than its design (Probably due to problem in Compressor).
Then you decided to shift the Motor to Lahore to diagnose the issue of the motor.

Then after the period of 3 months we received the motor at Hattar plant in July. Your team
again installed the Motor and commissioned the Compressor but again it has some issues
related to suction controller. We assume that there few critical problems in Compressor & will
be troublesome in future. So as per decision of higher Management, we do not want to
purchase the Compressor.
Now as our new compressor is arriving in August 2020 and we don’t need this compressor
anymore. Therefore, please return this compressor and pay the charges of winding contractor
on urgent basis for goodwill and better interest of our strategic business partnership.
