Leviathan, the Beast of the Ocean

Denizen of the Void Aspect

Leviathan is the Primeval Aquatic Beast and Prince of Envy of the [Insert Mythology Here]. A
large and terrifying sea serpent, the Leviathan devours an entire whale each day, and the river
of Jordan falls into his mouth. He is able to emit a brilliant light, especially from his eyes, and
would boil the water around him when he hungers. He is powerful enough to rival Behemoth
and would fight him at the end of all things. There used to be two Leviathans, a male and a
female, but the female was killed for having the potential of creating more Leviathan and
overrunning the world.

The Quest
Land of Oceans: A Land covered entirely with seawater. Monster infested seawater at that.
The Consorts have taken to living on giant ships, both nautical and aerial, to be able to outrun
the large schools of sea monsters constantly on their tails. These monsters can vary greatly,
from the classic sea serpents and krakens, to the ancient megalodon and other aquatic
dinosaurs, to the interesting umibozu, scylla, and charybdis, to even stranger things that call the
Depths their homes. Some Consorts claim to have seen a Horrorterror under the waves,
everyone says he’s just making things up. Everyone /hopes/ he’s just making things up. The
Player has two options in their quest, either hunt down all the monsters, Captain Ahab style, or
defeat the Denizen, their Ruler, and force the monsters to flee. Or they could try to bring about
peace between the Consorts and the creatures of the Depths, there's always that option.

The Battle
Leviathan is a powerful foe indeed, especially when he is in the water. His first ability increases
all of his Physical Attributes while he is in the water. He was also able to manipulate sea
creatures and water to an extent. Another ability of his is creating a blinding amount of light and
blinding all his enemies. He could create terrible aquatic monstrosities that shall same
countdowns. Finally, Leviathan could manipulate water in large amounts for both attack and
defense. He could create tsunamis, walls of water, busts of dihydrogen monoxide strong
enough to pierce metal, and control the flow and direction of the tides.

The Prize
Leviathan’s Pearl - A massive pearl about the size of a basketball. Whoever holds it is granted
a tremendous power over the waves and water, allowing them to manipulate it in various ways.
It would also boost their own water based abilities, enhancing their effects and preventing their
negation.
Strife Portfolio

Gargantuan Size
Leviathan is the mightiest of the ocean’s creatures, perfectly capable of going toe to toe with
Behemoth himself. He eats whales for breakfast and is very capable of swallowing whole liters.
This ability grants Leviathan incredible size, even for his fellow Denizens, what with being three
hundred miles long and all. With this size comes power. Physical power to be exact. This boost
in size would increase Leviathan’s Mangrit and Vim by quite a lot, and his Alacrity is also
increased by a slightly lesser degree. Should he be in water, which is pretty much a foregone
conclusion, his Alacrity shall be increased to match his Mangrit.

Blinding Brilliance
When Leviathan hungers he emits an incredible heat from his mouth, one that shall boil the
water around him. His body, especially his eyes, possesses great illuminating power. This ability
allows Leviathan to glow in the dark, which shall increase the illumination level of the nearby
area to just below blinding. This ability also grants Leviathan the ability to shoot out lasers from
his mouth. Yes, that is a thing he can do. The beam deals a Medium amount of Fire Damage
and has a Range of Medium, so it is quite an average attack.

King of Aquatic Beasts

Just as Behemoth rules over the land bound and inhabitants of the earth, Leviathan rules over
the fishes and those who make the water their home. This ability allows Leviathan to command
any animal naturally capable of swimming, such as fish, octopi, and whales, and unleash them
upon the Player. She could Underling Templates based on swimming animals easier, such as
Aquatic, Gilled, Fish, and Whale. Underlings with those Templates may be created at half the
cost, while also allowing Leviathan to spend a turn creating one in the middle of a Strife.
Leviathan’s Underlings also get the /Prolificacy/ Prototyped Trait for free, allowing them to
create more of themselves as any other natural creature would.

Oceanic Dominion
Leviathan is the primeval beast of the ocean, and holds a certain authority with it. Enough to
control it to an extent anyway. This ability allows Leviathan to manipulate water in various ways,
allowing him to use such powers as;
● Turn the Tides - Controls the waves upon the ocean in order to direct the flow towards
whatever location Leviathan wishes it so.
● Water Gun - Creates a powerful blast of water to destroy your enemies. Deals Medium
Water Damage and has a Range of Medium.
● Tsunami - Creates a massive wave that would probably kill everything. Area of Effect
Attack, Deals a Massive amount of damage to everything in the vicinity.
● Vapourize - Converts a mass of liquid straight into its gaseous statement, when used on
organic beings, this ability would basically cause them to an experiment really,
● Sea Wall - Creates a shield of water to protect the user. They are very Durable, and can
withstand most attacks easily enough.

Treasure Hoard

Leviathan’s Pearl
A large blue pearl, almost the size of a basketball. One that seems to shimmer like the ocean
its owner had hailed from.
Authority of Waves - The pearl could command the waves of the world. This item allow the
user to command water to a certain extent, they could direct waves, create blasts of water,
summon miniature tsunamis, and create a shield of water around them. This also increases the
effect of all the user’s water based abilities and attacks, including those that makes use of its
alternate states, and the difficulty of dispelling or negating the user’s water powers.

Circlet of Individa
A silver circled in laid with several pieces of emeralds. When it’s ability is active, the gems would
glow with a faint light, one that appears to shroud its wearer completely.
Object of Jealousy - When this ability is active, it would cause everyone nearby to compare
themselves to the user. And no matter what their good qualities maybe, consider him their
superiors. Even the slightest edge the user has over anyone effected with the ability would
cause them a great amount of distress and envy. This grants the user a bonus when performing
Social actions and rolling Pulchritude against those affected.

Refined Envy
A bottle of pure, concentrated, green glowing Envy. An amount that could be considered small
due to its small size, there is actually enough in the bottle to infect the entirety of a nation with
Envy, enough to topple kingdoms and trigger catastrophic revolutions, though still only enough
for a single use.
Mad Enhancement - When applied to a weapon, it would become infused with
competitiveness. One that may have consequences in the future. Its Durability, Damage Rating,
and Alacrity is increased to equal that of the highest among all other objects within the area. So,
if an Ultimate Shield and an Ultimate Sword are present, then the weapon’s Durability would
equal the Shield and its Damage and Alacrity would match the Sword. Once Strife ends the
weapon reduces all its Stats to 0, and immediately self destructs.
Wicked Tattoos - When used as ink, it could be used to make tattoos that grant the Shenergy
Drain ability. As its name implies, should the user be near another being with Shenergy they can
drain the target’s Shenergy to replenish their own. The user can absorb Shenergy of any type
and it shall be converted into the one they could use, though some types can be converted
more efficiently than others. Shenergy of the same Aspect as the user’s convert perfectly at a
1:1 basis, Shenergy of any other Aspect coverts at half efficiency, with every two points drained
granting the user a single point. The cost of such a powerful ability is that, should the user
attempt to replenish Shenergy in any other way, they would lose one fifth of the Shenergy they
would usually get.
