Assessment of learning is the picture in time that lets the
teacher, students and their parents know how well each student has completed the learning tasks and activities. It offers information about student achievement. While it delivers useful reporting information, it often has little effect on learning. When students are able to see how they are doing in a class, they are able to determine whether or not they understand course material. More than their performance, a teacher must be sensitive enough in the development of their attitudes, their learning development. Assessing the learning of Grade one is far more intricate than expected. THE INTRICACIES OF ASSESSING LEARNING FOR GRADE 1 By: Agustina Q.
