Read these instructions before initial operation. Pay special attention to the safety instructions.
If you notice transport damage while unpacking, notify your supplier immediately. Do not
operate the machine! Dispose of the packing in an environmentally friendly manner. Take
to a proper collecting point. Keep these instructions for reference on any issues you may be
uncertain about. When you hire or sell the machine, have all documents supplied go with it.
Do not overload machine – use it only within the performance range it was designed
for (see “Technical specifications”)
Please also observe the special safety instructions in the respective chapters. Where applicable,
follow the legal directives or regulations for the prevention of accidents pertaining to the use
of machine.
Adding fuel:
• Shut off engine and allow it to cool before adding fuel to the tank.
• Use care when filling the tank to avoid spilling fuel. Move tool away from fuelling area before
starting engine.
• Keep maximum fuel level 20mm below top of tank to allow for expansion.
• Operate and refuel in well ventilated areas free from obstructions.
• Store fuel in a approved container for petrol. Store in a secure location away from the work
area. Make sure the container is clearly marked “fuel”.

Warning! Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow all instructions
listed below may result in fire and/or serious injury.
PERSONAL SAFETY
GB • Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a petrol tool.
Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or
medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious
personal injury.
• Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protection. Safety equipment such as a dust mask,
non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will
reduce personal injuries.
• Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the tool on. A wrench or a key that is left
attached to a rotating part of the petrol tool may result in personal injury.
PL • Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of
the petrol tool in unexpected situations.
• Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves
away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
• If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities ensure
that these are connected and properly used. Use of these devices can reduce dust-related
hazards.

Remember that saw the use of drip oil and that oil can leak, especially when lying on side or
vertically. This is a normal phenomenon, caused by necessity of vent oil tank and not cause for GB
complaint. Because each saw is the belt checked and tested with oil, through the empty remain
in the tank a little rest, which escapes during transport.
Before displacing a saw we recommend to leave a minimal amount of oil in the tank and put
aside the saw to container for capturing low oil (example a tray with a raised edge). The spilled
oil must be disposed ecologically.

Don´t work alone. There must be around another person who knows principles of
the first aid.
The accompanying person must keep safe separation distance from your
workplace, but he/she must be able to see you the whole time! Work only on
such places where you are able to call the rescue service quickly!
• If someone is cut, cover the wound with a clean cloth and press hard to stop the flow of blood.

The saw chain has very sharp edges. Use thick protective gloves for safety.
CHAIN ASSEMBLY
1. Pull the guard towards the front handle to check that the chain brake is not on.
2. Loosen the nuts and remove the chain cover.
3. Install the attached spike to the power unit. (if it isn´t assembled from factory)
SK 4. Gear the chain to the sprocket and, while fitting the saw chain around the guide bar,
mount the guide bar to the power unit. Adjust the position of chain tensioner nut on the
chain cover to the lower hole of guide bar. -see. FIG 2-(8-Hole), (9-Tensioner nut(, (10-
Chain cover)
NOTE: Pay attention to the correct direction of the saw chain.

5. Fit the chain cover to the power unit and fasten the nuts to finger tightness.
6. While holding up the tip of the bar, adjust the chain tension by turning the tensioner screw
GB until the tie straps just touch the bottom side of the bar rail.
-see. FIG 4-(2-Loosen), (3-Tighten), (4-Tensioner screw)
7. Tighten the nuts securely with the bar tip held up (12-15N.m). Then check the chain for
smooth rotation and proper tension while moving it by hand. If necessary, readjust with the
chain cover loose.
8. Tighten the tensioner screw
NOTE:
A new chain will expand its length in the beginning of use. Check and readjust the tension
PL frequently as a loose chain can easily derail or cause rapid wear of itself and the guide

Most engine problems are caused directly or indirectly used fuel. Do not mix gasoline with
other oil than Castrol Castrol Garden 2T or 2T seal fuel tanks must be kept clean, seal and
sometimes the wait, apply grease (Vaseline).
CHAIN OIL
Use only environmentally friendly engine oil loss lubrication of chains.
NOTE: PL
Do not use wasted or regenerated oil that can cause damage to the oil pump.
ENGINE OPERATE
STARTING OF THE COLD ENGIE
1. Fill fuel and chain oil tanks respectively, and tighten the caps securely. -see FIG. 5-(1-Chain
oil), (2-Fuel)
2. Put the switch to “I” position. -see. FIG. 6-(3-Switch)
3. Pull out the choke knob to the closed position. -see. FIG. 8-(6-Choke nub)
4. While holding the throttle lever together with the throttle interlock. Push in the side throttle
lock button and release the throttle lever to hold it at the starting position. -see. FIG.
7-(4-Throttle), (5-Throttle lock)
5. Press the bulb of Primer pump 5 times till it is fulfilled by petrol
6. Press the decompressor
NOTE:
When you start again immediately after stopping the engine, pull the choke rod.
If you pull the choke button, it not return to the operating position, even if you‘re trying to push
it back. If you want to choke button to return to the operating position, press the throttle.

Do not start the engine while hanging the chain saw with a hand. The saw chain may touch your
body. It’s very dangerous.
8. When engine has ignited first, push in the choke knob and pull the starter again to start
SK the engine.
9. Allow the engine to warm up with the throttle lever pulled slightly.

The chain oil flow can be changed by inserting a screwdriver in the hole on bottom of the
clutch side. Adjust according to your work conditions.

PL The oil tank should become nearly empty by the time fuel is used up. Be sure to refill the oil
tank every time when refueling the unit.
ADJUSTING CARBURETOR
The carburetor on your engine was tuned at the factory, but may require fine tuning due to
the change in working podmínek.Každé adjustment and change-over engine serviced by an
authorized professional service.

CHAIN BRAKE
This machine is equipped with an automatic brake to stop saw chain rotation upon occurren-
ce of kickback while in saw cutting operation. The brake is automatically operated by inertial
force which acts on the weight fitted inside the front guard -see. FIG. 12
This brake can also be operated manually with the front guard turned down to the guide bar.
To release brake, pull up the front guard toward the front handle till “click” sound is heard.
Be sure to confirm brake operation on the daily inspection.
How to confirm:
(1) Turn off the engine.
(2) Holding the chain saw horizontally, release your hand from the front handle, hit the tip of
the guide bar to a stump or a piece of wood, and confirm brake operation. Operating level
varies by bar size. -see FIG. 13

STOPPING ENGINE
1. Release the throttle lever to allow the engine idling for a few minutes.
Put the switch to the “O” (STOP) position. -see FIG.14-(1-Switch)
Note: For emergency stopping of engine skip step 1.

SAWING
i WARNING!
• Before proceeding to your job, read “For Safe Operation” section it is recommended to first
practice sawing easy logs. This also helps you get accustomed to your unit.
• Always follow the safety regulations. The chain saw must only be used for cutting wood. It
is forbidden to cut other types of material. Vibrations and kickback vary with different mate- GB
rials and the requirements of the safety regulations would not be respected. Do not use the
chain saw as a lever for lifting, moving or splitting objects. Do not lock it over fixed stands.
It is forbidden to hitch tools or applications to the P.t.o. that are not specified by the manu-
facturer.
• It is not necessary to force the saw into the cut. Apply only light pressure while running the
engine at full throttle.
• When the saw chain is caught in the cut, do not attempt to pull it out by force, but use a
wedge or a lever to open the way.

GUARD AGAINST KICKBACK
-see FIG.15
• This saw is equipped with a chain brake that will stop the chain in the event of kickback if
operating properly. You must check the chain brake operation before each usage by running
the saw at full the throttle for 1-2seconds and pushing the front hand guard forward.
• The chain should stop immediately with the engine at full speed, if the chain is slow to stop
or does not stop, replace the brake band and clutch drum before use.
• It is extremely important that the chain brake be checked for proper operation before each
use and that the chain be sharp in order to maintain the kickback safety level of this saw.
Removal of the safety devices, inadequate maintenance, or incorrect replacement of the bar
or chain may increase the risk of serious personal injury due to kickback.
FEELING A TREE
-see FIG. 16 (1-V-notch), (2-Felling cut), (3-Direction felling)
1. Decide the felling direction considering the wind, lean of the tree, location of heavy bran-
ches, ease of job after felling and other factors.
2. While clearing the area around the tree, arrange a good foothold and retreat path.
3. Make a notch cut one-third of the way into the tree on the felling side.
4. Make a felling cut from the opposite side of the notch and at a level slightly higher than

When you fell a tree, be sure to warn your neighboring workers of the danger.
Before starting work, check the direction of the force that bends the trunk or branch to be
cut. Always finish cutting from the opposite end to the work force flexing the trunk or
branch, to avoid the grip of the saw cut.

Be alert to the springing back of a cut limb.
MAINTENANCE
i WARNING!
Before cleaning, inspecting or repairing your unit, make sure that engine has stopped and is
cool. Disconnect the spark plug to prevent accidental starting.

NOTE:
When installing the main filler, make sure that the grooves on the filter edge are correctly fit
with the projections on the cylinder cover.
2. Oiling port

Dismount the guide bar and check the oiling port for clogging. -see FIG. 22-(1-Oiling port)

When the guide bar is dismounted, remove sawdust in the bar groove and the oiling port.

Grease the nose sprocket from the feeding port on the tip of the bar. -see FIG. 24-(2-Grease

PERIODICAL MAINTENANCE
Check for fuel leakage and loose fastenings and damage to major parts, especially handle joints
and guide bar mounting.. If any defects are found, make sure to have them repaired before
operation again.
1. Cylinder fins
Dust clogging between the cylinder fins will cause overheating of the engine. Periodically
check and clean the cylinder fins after removing the air cleaner and the cylinder cover. When
installing the cylinder cover, make sure that switch wires and grommets are positioned cor-

rectly in place. -see FIG. 25
NOTE:
Be sure to block the air intake hole.
2. Fuel filter
(a) Using a wire hook, take out the filter from the filler port. -see FIG. 26-(1-Fuel filter)
(b) Disassemble the filter and wash with gasoline, or replace with new one if needed.
NOTE:

3.Oil tank
With a wire hook, take out the oil filter through the filler port and clean in gasoline. When
putting the filter back into the tank, make sure that it comes to the front right corner. Also
clean off dirt in the tank. -see FIG. 27-(2-Oil filter)
SPECIAL NOTICE
Never remove any safety features such as saw safety brake, chain catcher, etc. Injuries. If you are
unsure about the functionality of these safety parts contact your authorized service.
Nevmontovávejte never saw the non-original spare parts or use non-original accessories.

• Make sure the saw chain is held securely.
• Make sure the engine is stopped.
• Use a round file of proper size for your chain.
Place your file on the cutter and push straight forward. Keep the file position as illustrated.

Reverse the bar occasionally to prevent partial wear.

The bar rail should always be a rectangular with a minimum clearance of guide cells.. Check for
wear of the bar rail. Apply a ruler to the bar and the outside of a cutter. If a gap is observed
between them, the rail is normal. Otherwise , the bar rail is worn. Such a bar needs to be cor-
rected or replaced. -see FIG. 33-(1-Ruler), (2- Right gap), (3-No gap), (4-Chain tilts)

NOTE: For future reference, you should keep this operator‘s manual. Do not store
your unit for a prolonged period of time (30 days of longer) without performing
protective storage maintenance which includes the following:
1. Drain the fuel tank completely and pull the recoil starter handle several times to remove
fuel from the carburettor.

2. Always store fuel in approved container.
3. Place the ignition switch in the „STOP“ position.
4. Remove accumulation of grease, oil, dirt and debris from exterior of unit.
5. Perform all periodic lubrication and services that are required.
6. Tighten all the screws, bolts and nuts.
7. Cover the chain and the guide bar with the guide bar cover before putting them in storage.
8. Store unit in a dry, dust free place, out of the reach of children and other unauthorized

but in an environmentally friendly way. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with
your local council authority for recycling advice.

recyclable material decreases pollution in the environment. Please recycle packaging

Petrol and oil is hazardous waste. Dispose it in right way. It does not belong to house garbage.
