In view of reported confirmed positive case of Coronavirus dDisease 2019

(COVID- 19) in the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Provincial Statistical Office
(PSO) –Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Office, and pursuant to PSA Office
Memorandum NO. 2020-85 or otherwise known as the “COVID-19 Response
Protocol to reduce the risk of infection”, from COVID19 the PSA Regional Crisis
Management Committee is implementing the following risk reduction
measures:

1. Temporary closure of PSA-PSO Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Ooffice

including its frontline services to the public from 07 to 14 September 07-
14, 2020 for decontamination purposes.

2. All PSA- Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Office personnel with close contact
with to the confirmed case of COVID-19 positive shall undergo swab
testing and subject to a 14-day home quarantine.

3. PSA, in coordination with the Department of Health and the Local

Government Unit of Nueva Vizcaya, shall assist and support proper
investigation and/or contact racing.

Conduct of regular business of PSA-PSO Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Office shall

resume on 15 September 15, 2020.

prevent virus transmission. We would like to advise everyone to refrain from
sharing unverified reports, and false news to avoid spreading fear, and undue
stress to the public.
