Guideline 2. Writing Component.
Learning purpose.
By the end of this guideline, you will be familiar with the academic writing tasks
included in the IELTS examination. You will also be better able to develop your
ability to organize and present ideas in written composition. To do this, you will use
different strategies and writing models correlated to the aspects assessed in the
test.

1. Platform activity
Diagnostic test: go online to the Cambridge platform and complete writing test 1
(task 1 and 2) on test mode. Check the course calendar to complete this activity.
2. Autonomous activities
In this set of assigments, you will have the opportunity to learn how to approach
task 1 of the writing test. You will watch short videos before reading some
explanations and examples that will lead you to subsequent exercises that help
you develop your ability to describe visual information. You will then do some
exercises on the platform.
