JOB VACANCY

MAINTENANCE PLANNER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate with the Technical Services, Operations and Maintenance Departments with regards
to proposed work programs of the power plant and conduct financial studies and development of
engineering economic alternatives for the approval of the Site Manager;
• Prepare and recommend appropriate procurement plan for materials/services necessary to
support the approved work program for the power plant based on company directions and
objectives;
• In coordination with Maintenance Manager, prepare OPEX and CAPEX budget for the maintenance
department in support to the proposed work program of the power plant;
• Monitor the annual Maintenance OPEX and CAPEX of the power plant and prepare monthly
expense analysis;
• Evaluate budget variances and propose work process or other organizational adjustments to
minimize plant downtime, reduce maintenance costs and optimize expenses to within the
approved budget;
• Source and maintain a database of suppliers and contractors that support various power plant
equipment and services needed by the power plant;
• Prepare Work Orders for annual plant maintenance services or for routine maintenance works to
ensure continuous plant dispatch;
• Determine and recommend other special projects for the power plant complex that will result in
optimization of costs to support company directions and objectives;
• Responsible for the preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual schedules and for the long
and short range scheduling functions of all maintenance activities and overhauls;
• Create an outage plan and schedule with inputs from the Technical Services, Operations and
Maintenance Departments;
• Analyze maintenance performance data in the CMMS to assess the adequacy of maintenance
delivery and makes appropriate modifications or changes to maintenance plans and programs as
necessary;
• Maintain a high level of interactions with other key company personnel to ensure consistency of
practice and applications of maintenance programs and other related company policies like
engineering/performance, safety and loss control;
• Provide maintenance and cost projections for the preparation of annual maintenance budgets,
and manages maintenance delivery to the approved budget;
REQUIREMENTS:
• Graduate of Bachelor Engineering Degree preferably in Mechanical or Industrial
Engineering;
• Minimum 5 years technical experience in power plants or similar heavy industry, experience
with geothermal facilities will be an advantage;
• Good planning and computer programming skills;
• Good communication and reporting skills both verbal and in writing, specifically in English;
• Having experiences in multi-national project development performed in various countries is
desirable but not essential;
• Willingness to work on weekends, holidays and overtime as necessary;
• Willingness to travel and relocate in Tarutung, North Sumatra;
• Multi-cultural knowledge and working experience.
