How I spend my time while studying remotely

Before the coronavirus my life was full of events. I worked in a TV program, went
to the shootings, organized events at the university and just was constantly on the
move. This rhythm of life kept me in shape and I did not know another, quiet life.
After I decided to maintain self-isolation, I had to look for new activities in order
not to go crazy at home.
In fact, I spend most of my time studying. I usually spend about 10 hours sitting in
front of a laptop, even on weekends.

At first it was difficult to get used to this but now I perceive this as the norm.
But in such a rhythm of life my eyes and body get tired very quickly, so I try to do
exercises for my eyes often and use moisturizing drops. As I said before, I’ve been
in motion all my life. And if before the pedometer showed at least 10 thousand
steps, now this figure has decreased by 10 times. It really upsets me. But I do not
despair therefore I do exercises every day for about 10 minutes and in the morning
and in the evenings I do stretching or exercises for the hips and the press. I know
that cardio exercises are very good for health and the best way is to run. But I hate
running. Some people say that after running they feel much better, but I feel
exhausted. So now, when it has become warm, I ride on a bicycle. I love to ride in
quiet places where there are no people and listen to the sounds of nature or my
favorite music. It calms and inspires me. A sedentary lifestyle can lead to dire
consequences such as being overweight, depression, diabetes, and many orhers.
We can avoid this. Just start.
But one sport is not enough. People should also think positively and make the right
choice for the good. For example, eat right and balanced, do not abuse alcohol and
cigarettes, observe sleep patterns and so on. One must be able to find joy in small
and ordinary things.
There are also advantages to being at home. Before, I didn’t have time to eat
normally and healthy. No matter how hard I try, snacking and grocery shopping
can not be called healthful. I really like to cook and at home I have everything I
need for this and most importantly I have a passion for it.

Another plus is makeup. Precisely speaking, its absence. I love myself without
makeup and I do not inferiority complex because I know that there are girls who
are embarrassed about themselves without makeup. But a month before the
pandemic, I had to apply makeup every day because I took part in the Study Queen
of BSU. There were constant photo shoots, so you always had to look like a one
million dollar. But now I have more time not to do makeup but to take care of my
skin.
Honestly, at the moment I do not have time to read what I want. All the time goes
to the university program. But on the other hand, I am writing a course work of one
of my favorite books, Lolita. I am very fortunate with this, because this is really
the book I am interested in doing scientific work.

Even on self-isolation there are fascinating activities. I continue to conduct social


networks of the Creative Union of the entire university for which you need to come
up with something new constantly. Recently I was asked to record a video in which
I talk about my specialty to applicants. In general, I have a motto in my life: if you
don’t know what to do – do squats or read. It always works.
