In order to use the network fax function (Internet fax/ Network fax function settings
IP address fax), you must set the following. 1. Press [Utility/Counter].

Service mode setting

4. Set the Internet Fax to “ON.”

Note:
When the service mode is displayed, be sure to
turn off the main power switch after exiting the ser-
vice mode and then turn it on after waiting for
more than 10 seconds.
Caution:
For settings on and after this stage, be sure to ask
the user administrator to set them or set them by
yourself after getting a permission from the user
administrator.
E-Mail setting
1. In the Administrator Setting screen, press “Net-
work Setting”, “E-Mail Setting” and “E-Mail TX
(SMTP)” in this order.
2. With the E-Mail TX Setting set to “ON”, press
“Forward.”
3. Press “Host Address” and enter either “Input Host
Name”, “IPv4 Address Input” or “IPv6 Address
Input” and then press “OK.”
4. Press “OK.”
5. Press “Network Setting”, “E-Mail Setting” and “E-
Mail RX (POP)” in this order.
6. Set the E-Mail RX Setting to “ON.”
7. Press “Host Address” and enter either “Input Host
Name”, “IPv4 Address Input” or “IPv6 Address
Input” and then press “OK.”
8. Press “Forward” twice.
9. Press “Login Name” and enter the account name.
And then press “OK.”
10. Press “Password” and enter the password. And
then press “OK.”

Administrator registration
1. In the Administrator Setting screen, press
“Administrator/Machine Setting” and “Administra-
tor Registration.”
2. Press “E-Mail Address” and enter the mail
address of the administrator. And then press
“OK.” This address is used as a From address
while in the transmission of the IP address fax.
3. Press “OK” and then press “Close” three times.

Sending and receiving test

1. Press [Fax/Scan] key.
2. Press “Direct Input.”
3. Press “IP Address Fax TX.”
