1) INTRODUCTION
A pleasant morning everyone! The event is about to begin. To our graduates, awardees and performers,
please kindly help yourself to find your respective places and to our parents and guests, please find a seat
and make yourself comfortable. We expect this occasion to last for only a few hours so before we begin this
ceremony, I would like to remind you to turn your cell phones to silent mode to maintain the solemnity of
this event. We would also like to kindly remind everybody to please stay until the end of the occasion.

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! Graduation Day is always a day of rejoicing for it marks the
conclusion of an educational journey and the commencement of another more uncertain and more difficult
part of man’s quest for a better life and future. Truly, today signifies the culmination of many years of hard
work in the relentless pursuit of knowledge! Knowledge that will enable a person to embrace opportunities
and take on challenges with clear vision and purpose.

We are very lucky indeed that with us today to grace and witness our occasion are our honorable guest,
Yang Mulia Effa Susanti @ Batty Binti Jenek, Yang Mulia Hamadi Bin Haji Jublee, Yang Mulia Hamimi
Binti Haji Hussin, Yang Mulia Julia Lim Soon Yin and Yang Mulia Nur Amani Ayatiee Binti Shafiee.

To our renowned illustrious, and highly eminent School Advisor, Dr. Jeffrey Joel Moncherry, our honored
school Principal of SECA School, Mrs. Angela Lim Soon Mei, our dedicated and ardent Deputy Principal
for School Activities and Environments, Teacher Angelita Amata Tiong, to our highly committed and
deeply determined members of the faculty and staffs, members of the graduating batch, awardees, beloved
students, to the appreciative and loving parents, visitors and friends, it is my distinct privilege to welcome
you to the 12th Graduation and Awarding Ceremony 2018 of Sekolah Cemerlang Abejess. Allow me to
declaim a stanza of a traditional Malay poem as welcoming remarks to our ceremony today:
Melati kuntum tumbuh melata,
Sayang merbah di pohon cemara,
Selamat datang mulanya kata,
Saya sembah pembuka bicara.

Ladies and gentlemen, Selamat Datang and welcome to the 12th Graduation and Awarding Ceremony 2018
of Sekolah Cemerlang Abeejes, SECA School, Home of the brilliant stars!

Today we imprint this date as a day of rejoicing for it marks the first step that every child must undertake to
open up to another important stage of their lives. It’s an honour to be here to this special event which is the
high point of the academic year because today we celebrate the accomplishments and academic
achievements of our dear graduates. I am Teacher Ruby and I will be the host for this ceremony.

4) National Anthem.
To begin the ceremony, may I request everyone to please all rise as we pay tribute to our national flag
through the singing of the National Anthem.

 5) Recitation of Al-Quran.
To start today’s ceremony with the recitation of Holy Quran, I would like to call Muqaatil Mohamed
Loukmon of Year 4A upon the stage for the recitation of some holy verses of Quran and the translations of
the ayahs will be read by Muhd Syafiq Abdul Azem Bin Tujoh of Year 5A.

6) Graduation March – KG 3A, 3B, 3C & Year 6

Ladies and gentlemen, what an amazing journey. Arriving here today represents a significant achievement
for our beloved graduates. They did well! They accomplished one of the major early milestones of their
lives: school graduation. This is a major step in the journey of their lives, one that should be recognized for
its immense significance. It is an act not only of personal commitment, but also one of pride. These
graduates worked hard to get to this day. Their committed hard work had proved their worth to become a
member of graduating batch this year.

But graduation is not an end goal in itself. It is instead a part of the larger journey of life. Our graduates have
bloomed their confidence, discovering knowledge and self-unique talents which are the evident in academic
excellence and other areas of learning. Our dearest preschoolers have grown and learned so much this year
that they are ready for another challenging yet exciting elementary education journey.
Today, we are here looking into the contented and delighted happy faces of our graduates, who are ready to
gear up for exciting challenges to be in the Secondary level. Although we are sad to bid them farewell but
we are so proud of these brilliant stars that we have nurtured for years.
