1. Introduce yourself?

I am Anjali Soni from Kolkata, West Bengal and I belong to a family of 5 member. My father is a
businessman trading in jewellery and mother is a homemaker. I have a twin sister who has taken
admission in your college this year and my younger brother who has completed his schooling
this year. /I have a twin sister and a younger brother. I am a commerce graduate from The
Bhawanipur Education Society College specializing in accounting and finance. I used to work as
an audit assistant at Praveen Jyoti and Associates for a span of 18 months. My responsibilities
were computerized entries on tally, GST filing, handling clients and gathering their accounting
information. I like to contribute to the society in my own little way and therefore I joined an
NGO named Bhumi as a volunteer where I used to teach mathematics to children of age group 4-
11. I am very much passionate about cooking, and find it very peaceful. My hobbies include
reading, cycling, badminton and I even love to teach.

Make it about yourself

Things to remember:

 Probability of remembering the last thing is significant. End with leading lines (what I
would like to be asked).
 Mention strong contribution to the society.

2. Why MBA?

I believe a person is shaped by its environment. Since childhood I have always looked up and
admired my grandfather who started and established his own jewellery shop. He taught me
knowledge is the greatest asset one can possess.

I consider myself as a curious person and I want to continuously improve myself, broaden my
skill sets and become a better decision maker. MBA will provide me a holistic view of business
world,

In a globalised world and post-liberalised India, an education in management will provide a

passport towards wider career option, superior employment position,

Because it is the only program which provides cross functional knowledge and specialize
knowledge, enhance my skill-set, and develop a positive and rigorous mindset.

Of course, other course will help, but education in management will provide me skillset and
knowledge in my way (blind of theoretical and practical learning). If knowledge is the product of
b-school then skill set is the by-product (side effect or consequence).

As the working environment is getting more and more integrated, skills of other-domain are
becoming necessary. Having cross functional knowledge will help me develop my managerial
and administrative skills. It will even provide me an ability to think from a different-perspectives
and arrive at a suitable conclusion.

3. Detail about Work Experience?

low confidence and self-doubt. It caused hindrance to my growth because I used to think that

the courage to take steps towards my growth and become the person that I’m today.

Sir, I regret to inform that there had not been any academic achievement noteworthy. However,
I believe that I have been working hard of late and I seen some improvements in my last
semester and entrance examination.

Sir I believe I have gained a valuable insight and exposure of the practical world after working as

As we know China was supressing the news of covid-19 instead of treating the disease. But I

People need something to blame because they don’t want to take responsibilities.
