SUBMISSION DEAD LINE: 1 November, 2020

 Use IS: 456-2002 and SP16.


 Write your name, department and roll number, Sheet No., Title etc. in the Engineering Drawing
format. Drawings must be hand drawn (yourself). It is preferable to draw in the A3 size paper.

Q1. Prepare detail drawings for the followings in suitable scale:


(i) Longitudinal and sectional drawings for:
Singly reinforced and doubly reinforced simply supported rectangular beams with suitable
dimensions and details. (2)
(ii) One way and two way rectangular slabs fully interior and restrained in corners: Sections and
plans. (3)
(iii) a. Short axially loaded, uniaxially loaded and biaxially columns: plans and sections (2)
b. Beam column joint and detailing as per IS13920 for reinforcement detailing. (2)
(iv) Combined footing with two columns and isolated footings: sections and plans. (3)
(v) Doglegged Staircase drawings: sections and plan (2)
(vi) Flanged rectangular beams, sections of L-beam and T-beam, with room plan too. (2)

Q2. If the face to face class is possible, there will be a final viva of 9 marks. If not, then there will be an
alternate approach to evaluate the lab works.

NOTE: If the face to face class resume, we may make a site visit to nearby construction sites. (depends
upon the situation)
