by Namusisi Scovia - Saturday, 5 September 2020, 3:53 AM Iam using my personal example as a small entrepreneur, owning my fast food snacks center has taught me alot about management, getting things done by other people's effort, I have experienced ups and downs throughout the course of the years that I have been running it, with skills I portrayed as manager ,it takes integrity to and leading by example among those you are instructing to do this work for you, I have engaged by laying hands on teach my workers on how to get things done not just talking and giving orders alone. And working in a competitive world of the snacks business I have always asked myself how to improve and stay in the business competitively and this has helped me seek more knowledge on how to manage the business. 132 words PermalinkShow parent

Re: U1DF: The Art of Getting Things Done by Aki Tokuyama - Tuesday, 8 September 2020, 12:09 AM I can only image so much struggle you went through... It is difficult to manage people and run business successfully. I manage a school, so I also constantly ask myself if there are any better ways to improve my managerial skills and achieve school's goal. 45 words PermalinkShow parent

Re: U1DF: The Art of Getting Things Done by Aki Tokuyama - Tuesday, 8 September 2020, 4:30 AM Oh I guess I should've specified what my school is. It's an English conversation school in Japan so it is a small school. Managing three kids is much more difficult thing to do! I respect all moms in the world!! Compared to that, my work is easy. 47 words PermalinkShow parent
