Management refers to coordinating, organizing and administrating the available
organizational resources both human and other physical resources towards achieving the
SMART goals of the business or company.
for example managers motivating staff or employees through incentives like allowances,
prizes for the most hardworking staff member and this will also encourage others to work
hard too

as a manager of Gaza ltd company which deals in manufacturing babies' clothes, management
may be taken as planning, organizing, leading and controlling

At the start of the business we set objectives which we are meant to achieve as we thrive on.
and then we added on the mission which is "to produce the best quality baby products at an
affordable price" and we had a mission that gives a direction as we operate " to be the leading
company that produces baby products in Uganda"

We have managed to bring together different employees with different unique skills into the
business to that we put the efforts together to meet the set goals

the employees are trained on how to adopt the different technological advancements and how
to improve their productivity and efficiency using the available resources.

as a manager i delegate tasks according to the needs of each department so that we can be
able to accomplish the tasks in the given time .

we do a follow up to get feedback from clients so that we can be able to evaluate the
performance of the business whether we are meeting the expectations of our clients or not

that's how i understand management!

That's good content. I agree with the content. This is easy to understand and clear. I think it's
a good thing about the content of the manager's role, but it would be great if there were more
details about the topic, The art of getting things done through the efforts of other people.

Dear Sandra,

I always believe that some things are easily explained if we use real-time examples, and as
you mention in your discussion reputation of work to the right staff is important for work to
be done in the best and efficient way possible.

All I can advise hence here forth is you should always have a reference for your work.
