I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:

1. Apply the learning in clesson 1&2 by means of paper and pencil assessment,
2. To perform the correct form of the five basic strengthening exercises, and
3. To identify/record how many strength training exercise they can perform.

II. SUBJECT MATTER

Topic: Muscle and Bone Strengthening Exercises

Materials: Marker, Powerpoint Presentation

III. TEACHING PROCEDURE

A. Preparatory Activities

1. Routinary Activities
- Prayer
- Greetings
- Checking of the attendance

2. Motivation

The teacher will show an Ice Breaker dance to be performed by the students,

B. Presentation

 Review of Previous lesson


 Show the correct position in doing strength training exercises.

C. Generalization

 The teacher will ask questions related to the topic.


 The students will share what they have learned in the lesson.

D. Application

 The students will have a paper and pencil assessment regarding on the
lesson 1&2.

IV. EVALUATION

In a ¼ sheet of index card record how many strength training exercises can be
performed. With proper posture.
 Push up
 Superman
 Crunches
 Side crunches
 Squat

V. ASSIGNMENT

 Advance reading about how to design a workout program.
