Explanation: Developmental tasks continue to foster even after the first three stages of human
development. As a person enters early adulthood to later maturity, he or she will experience a
new set of skills. This is similar to the Life-span Approach according to Paul Baltes wherein
individuals are changing beings therefore, the need to acquire new skills and tasks is
applicable.

learner to master the developmental task in the next stage.
 
/ 3.  Preschool age corresponds to early childhood stage.

x 4.  Adolescence is middle and late childhood stage.

Explanation: Middle and late childhood stages cater to the achievements of a child, therefore
learning how to read and write is catered in this stage. On the other hand, adolescence focuses
more on the biological processes of a child. This is where the body gradually changes and
sexual attractiveness is also observed

x 5.  Teenage is middle childhood.

Explanation: Middle childhood begins around seven years old and is considered as the school-
age where the child learns reading and writing. Teenage years usually fall within the adolescent
stage between the ages of 13 to 19 years old.

x 6.  Mastery of fundamental skills is a major concern during early childhood.

 Explanation: Although early childhood is considered as preschool years, this stage focuses
more on taking care of themselves and preparing for school age. Hence, fundamental skills are
learned in middle and late childhood.

 Explanation: Middle childhood focuses on developing the fundamental skills of the child, also
learning morals and values is also observed in middle childhood. Meanwhile, playing can be
seen in early childhood wherein they spend many hours playing with their peers.

 Explanation: Preparation for school readiness is observed in early childhood since the middle
childhood stage already concerns exposing the child to the larger world, hence, he or she must
be familiar with the fundamental set of skills.
