Dear Sir,

Further to the request of the Employer cited in Ref 1) above, we hereby attached the
variation proposal of the Viaduct Emergency Escape for your kind approval.

We believe the proposed RCC scheme is the most economic design, and needs no
maintenance work for the years to come. Compared to the original design provided by the
Employer, this new RCC scheme will make more savings to the Employer.

We would appreciate if the Employer could review and approval the new proposal at your
earliest time, therefore the design can be carried out to meet the construction progress.
