Materials/ - GPGP worksheet


Websites - Chromebooks
- Balance Scale Website

Prior - Knowledge of chromebooks and gSuite


Knowledge - Knowledge of comparison number sentences
- Knowledge of word problem strategy

Teaching 1. The students will use the GPGP worksheet to work through word
Strategy/ problems involving the GPGP.
Lesson 2. The students will work through the word problems on their worksheets
with their partners.
3. The students will solve the problems and complete the comparison
number sentence.
4. Once the students have completed their paper, the students will show
the teacher their work before working on the computer.
5. Once the teacher checks to see that the worksheet was completed, the
students will work with their partner on the computer.
6. The students will use the given site to check their answers on their
comparison equations.

Assessment - The students will be assessed on their correctness of the assignment.
