D. Rationale of the Project or Activity:
The outbreak of the coronavirus disease has greatly affected our community in many ways. One of them being a hindrance to our education, changing the way of teaching for teachers and the learning of students. Instead of having the usual face to face learning in school, we have shifted to the “new normal” where in online classes is one of the alternative for the students who still desire to continue their learning. Due to this change, it will be difficult for some students to adapt to the new normal. Not being able to be surrounded by classmates and friends can be difficult for the students which can affect their psychosocial health. It is important to look after one’s mental health for it can also affect their education when their mental health is not at best. This project aims to prompt students that they are not alone and that they have the support of the school to prioritize their psychosocial needs. E. Objectives and Goals: At the end of the Project or Activity duration, the participants are expected to: 1. Provide the members of the Junior High School Community with different inspirational posters and announcements that will alleviate them with their psychosocial problems. 2. The page will have the means of delivering students mental health support every time they experience through severe instances. 3. This project will improve the students to become socially aware and be direct with concerns correlated to mental health.
F. Mechanics and Guidelines:
The following mechanics and guidelines are to be followed during the duration of the project or activity: I. A letter must be written by the JHS- Student Affairs Council Grade 10 Level Governor, approved by the JHS- Student Affairs Council Moderator, noted by the JHS-Level Vice Principal and have it approved by the Integrated School Principal. II. After approval, the officers will create and formulate the Facebook and Twitter Page. This platform will be used to meet the psychosocial needs of the Junior High School Community.
