ABSTRACT

ALMERO PAUL NATHANIEL P., CASTAÑEDA, SHAINA MAE B., and

COLLADO, LORD KENT G. (2019). Level of Satisfaction on the Voucher Program
to the Senior High School students and parents. Practical Research II and Capstone
Research Project. University of Northern Philippines, Laboratory Schools. Tamag, Vigan
City.

Advisers: Rainalda T. Rambuyon Ed. D.

Janet T. Molina, BS Physics

The quantitative study made used of the descriptive-correlational method of

research which assesses and allows the testing of expected relationships between and

among two or more variables. It utilized the survey questionnaire method to gather

relevant data from the selected Senior High School students and parents of the students

that are under the voucher program at the University of Northern Philippines.

Data were tallied, summarized and presented in textual and graphical form which

includes reading, initial coding, developing emergent themes, searching for connection

across emergent themes, moving to the next case and looking for patterns across cases.

After rigorous reading and analysis of data, study found out that being a recipient

of the Senior High School Voucher Program or any scholarship program helps students to

study at ease — without thinking any pending debts or working as a part-timer in order

for them pay tuition fees, and the level of satisfaction among students and parents are

satisfied in terms: personal; economic; and political aspect.

Keywords: Relationships, satisfaction, voucher, voucher programs
