SUMMARY

Ma’am Janelyn Tuyan, RN, MaEd our speaker tells that according to Greafin Bell
Dodon, RN mental health is a human experience, a war not easily won but is worth
winning. Ourselves is our great enemy if we didn’t fight for it, we lose the battle we get
not is good for us. Quarantine is different from isolation because in quarantine we can
use social media to talk to our family while isolation is, we limit ourselves to everybody
as stated by Ma’am Janelyn Tuyan. Is just that we need to cope with unexpected
challenges that we experience right now especially that we under pandemic. So how we
cope with these, by doing what you want to do like hiking, cooking or doing some
household chores. We have a lot to do inside in our house even though we can’t go
outside the media is there to use wisely: calling your love ones through video chat,
chatting, and laughing without face to face contact. We have time for it. Knowing
ourselves is the best important to know the most because it is the way on how we help
ourselves. If someone feels stressed or depressed, we should visit them when different
time as not expected by that person especially if there are alone the best way to visit
them is at 3 am or the sun didn’t rise yet. We need also to become positivist to avoid
negative people because it brings you down. Always positive can boost our minds and
health. Don’t forget to some exercises like walking, meditation, do a deep breathing
exercise to become relaxed or free from any stress around us. We need to take care of
our self because we are the one to help our self to survive every battle that we need to
win no matter what. Be strong and have faith in God everything in him is under control.

REFLECTION

Just keep going, it is not easy yes but it makes us stronger to face the
challenges. We must learn that in these times of distress, when our devotion and
obedience are put to the greatest test, we must focus on God, not on the problem. For
we can do all things through Him who gives us strength, learn to be patient, do it in
God’s way. Never let the faithlessness of others determine what we should do, for our
Lord knows our every need and He will not replenish us in the same way. Doing suicidal
isn’t the answer in our problems.
