 Use standardized reading materials if none design one for remediation which focuses on the following factors:
word identification, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension

 Conduct remedial activities like storytelling, making book reports or story maps, word of the day (includes word,
transcription, meaning and sentence usage), ReLiSh ( Read a Line and Share), DEAR ( Drop Everything and
Read), Home Reading Report, journal writing --- All these activities can be done through messenger, Facebook,
video conferencing, etc. or guardians/parents can submit them personally to the teacher in the school.

 Seek help from the Brgy. Councilor for Education Program and plan possible intervention programs that could
enhance the students’ reading skills and foster the love of reading
