Barriers to Change

The barrier that becomes the reason to resist the area of change is known as barriers to change.The
barriers that enable the difficulty in implementing organizational strategy, targets and otheraspects
are the behind change management. If a thing is inappropriate or unworthy then it will beidentified
to change and this change brings several difficulties in the application of change.That’s why the
change barriers occur with its importance in change management.Now in context of individual and
organizational barriers, the individual barrier is probably theinability of the individual who do not
willingly learn the new features which might be a majorbarrier. And sometimes the individual have
lack of attention, knowledge, and skills to learnquickly. Now the organizational barrier is the
retarded steps of the organization that is not able toimplement three major organizational values.
And these three factors are its culture, structure andleadership. If any organization doesn’t obey
change that it must be having the barriers of themwhich could not be resolved by the organizations
itself.

change management. The change itself an obstacle because it is not easy to implement withgreat
leadership styles. Although a company which has different product should be more awareof former
methods. And Tesco is one of those companies who lost the peak time of high salesand profit. But
this was happened accidentally, it happened due to the lack attention towardschange.11

The managers and leaders who take responsibility of products quality and pricing is a good signof
management but in Tesco, the leader who runs a store left every important decisions to itsteam. If
the workers are clearly not aware of the right process, selection of material and timemanagement
then how would be a benefit result come? This happened in Tesco the leaders andmanager did not
understand the need of decision making services and this barrier removes thecompany’s name from
top list. The Tesco Company faced a serious downfall because of themismanagement of decision
making worth by the leaders.

The largest mobile phones brand Nokia also faced a tremendous attack on their reputation, salesand
profit. Undoubtedly, the Nokia was the era of time when the phone freaks were mad to haveNokia
phone because of its long determination life time usage. The hardware device was quiterigid with
affordable range of prices. But the time changed, the whole world switched frommanual phone to
the smart phones. At that time of 1stcentury, Nokia did not modify or change itsbrand software
