Student #2- This student was not
participating in the class discussion
and work. I asked him to participate
with us and asked him to answer
the questions several times. On his
Google Classroom submission, I
wrote Great job on this
assignment. When in class, please
participate and share out your
answers with us!

Day 3- Science Whole class- I provided typed
feedback to the students on their
exit slips submitted on their Google
Classroom assignments.
Student #1- This student did a
great job reading the sentences and
placing the right vocabulary terms
with the right definitions. I wrote
Great job matching the words to
their definitions! You are a strong
reader! Next, you can try to type
your answers. I am encouraging the
student to expand his strengths and
practice his typing skills.
For the feedback on this exit slip, I
want to emphasize the importance
of reading over the entire sentence
before selecting a word to fill in the
blank space. I believe students were
not reading the sentence to the end,
and that’s why they were making
mistakes. I also will review the
vocabulary terms with the students
and use them in different contexts
to ensure the students understand.

Student #2- This student mixed up

two of the definitions and got the
rest of them correct. On his exit
slip, I typed You mixed up the
definitions of decay and remains.
When dinosaurs die, their remains
are left. Their remains then decay!
Make sure to read over the
sentence two or three times.
