MODEL

1. Proposal Subscribing: Teacher will provide information (video and handouts) regarding a model
proposal, which students must watch and complete, respectively, according to the specific instructions
provided by the teacher. Students must subscribe the idea by suggesting a model related to the topics
addressed during the term with a title (10 points)

2. Handout content (50 points in total): Students must complete the handout information regarding the
design of the model that has been proposed to the teacher. Handout must include the following
information:

2.1. Application of the Model: Students must indicate how the model they are proposing works, and the
application in scientific purposes. (10 points)
2.2. Objective: Students must write what is the objective of this activity in daily life. (10 points)
2.3. Background: Students must include information regarding the experimental activity assigned by
indicating the main concepts used and the scientific terms/ideas that are used for the development of the
model activity. (10 points)
2.4. Materials required: The students must subscribe the materials which are required for the
development of the model activity. (10 points)
2.5 Flowchart: Students will indicate the steps they must follow to design the model. In this step,
students may include a flowchart using figures (Scheme, drawings, mental maps) (10 points)

3. Evidence of the Model (30 points): Students must provide evidence that backgrounds the design f the
model indicating the key aspects.
Evidence may include:
 Explain the process and importance of creating this model
 Photography and/or videography evidence of the results of the model showing the materials and
how they are used to create the model.

4. Conclusions and Recommendations (10 points): Students must indicate their conclusions and/or
recommendations on the design of the model to describe how it can explain the concepts related to it.
MODEL PROPOSAL DOCUMENT

1. Proposal Subscribing: (Indicate the Title of your model and a brief description of it)

Title:

The life of a plant.

Description: In the model you can see a real plant and its stage in which it uses the sun's rays to
produce its own energy, the way to do this explanation would be that the plant will have some
papers or figures around it explaining and pointing out each part that is necessary to create your
photosynthesis.

HANDOUT CONTENT

2.1. Application of the Model

Knowing that the photosynthesis of plants is very important for us, we could apply this to perhaps
take better care of these organisms since they are the ones that provide us with oxygen and keep us
alive.

2.2. Objective: To understand and learn more about the operation of plants, we should know that they
play a great role in our community and that without them we would not survive, since they provide
us with oxygen and that is why we should take better care of them.

Background (Include the main information regarding the design of the model you will present):

Chloroplast=plants and green algae that contains chlorophylls and carotenoid pigments and creates
glucose through photosynthesis
Photosynthesis=Is the way that the plant make food They use carbon dioxide and water to make
glucose and oxygen
Glucose= Is a sugar. Sugars belong to a group of chemicals called CARBOHYDRATES
THE PHOTOSYNTESIS IN WORDS
The photosynthesis It’s when the Carbon dioxide and water combine with sunlight to create oxygen
and glucose.
CO2+H2O-C6H12O6+O2=The photosynthesis in symbols
2.3. Materials Required (Include all material and/or devices needed to complete your model design):
1)A plant
2) Cardboard
3)Glue
4)Wood sticks
5)cotton
6)Styrofoam
7)markers and colors

2.4. Flowchart (Indicate the instructions that you followed to create your model, showing the steps and the
materials that you have used in order to design it):

3. Conclusions and Recommendations (10 points): Students must indicate their conclusions and/or
recommendations on the design of the model to describe how it can explain the concepts related to it.
Hello, I am Andrés and today I am going to talk about the characteristics of an electrical circuit, An
electrical circuit is a path in which electrons can flow from a voltage or current source and allows
electrons to flow from a negative pole to a positive pole.

a current or an electrical current is a flow of electrical charge that flow in a wire circuit,

the electrical circuit has components and many types, the most common and necessary component
is the power source, the wire and a load the types of electric current are simple, closed, open, short,
series and parallel.
