Job Overview:

This role will own and drive key responsibilities required of a game design professional,
within the organization of Wind Creek Hospitality, as well as the culture and mission, in
areas of game strategy, game mechanics, creative concepting, game balancing, game
design production, advertising, internal communications, social media and direct
marketing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supports the in-house game development and design team by aiding in game
design
• Creates and edits mechanics within the Wind Creek Casinoverse metagame
• Enables distribution of those elements for use in marketing collateral
• Responsible for the internal communication of progress with stakeholders
• Ensures accuracy of game elements
• Conducts industry and market research as necessary
• Participates in game planning
• Assists with game development administrative tasks
• Collates feedback for various game items and incorporates revisions

Job Requirements:

• Degree from a top twenty-five game design college or 4+ years proven job
experience with similar role. The Top 75 Video Game Design Schools: College

• Game Design emphasis required
• Demonstrable ability to articulate and discuss concepts of game design and
game mechanics as executed in multiple games and game genres
• Demonstrable ability to imagine crossover possibilities of game mechanics from
different games and game genres and then clearly articulate those crossover
possibilities
• Familiarity with quick design tools from the Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign,
Photoshop, illustrator etc.

• Demonstrated completion of Design flow from high concept to working prototype, in


software or hard media format.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, speak effectively
before groups of customers or employees of the organization
• Must have good organizational skills; excellent oral and written communication
skills; experience in customer relations or guest services- preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for entire shift
• Must be able to work various hours as needed including weekends and holidays
• Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a
license) as a requirement for this position
• Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke
environment
