Recommended Safe Job Procedure
 Never exceed the posted lift capacity (including worker,
material, and tools).
 Ensure personnel working in basket are tied off using full
body safety harness
 Never work or walk under loads
 Only use lift on flat level ground
 Keep hands free from pinch points and wear appropriate
hand gloves
 Do not use lift within 10ft of energized power lines
 Tie off tools or otherwise secure them from falling below
 Tape off or barricade work area
 Personnel must always stand firmly on the floor of the
basket, not sit or climb on the edge of the basket or planks,
or other devices for a work position.
 Avoid over-reaching, hyper-extending, location/position of
extremities.
