Comments:
Continued calling on ss when ss were on whiteboard ensured that you kept students on task. Student who was
on the Ipad could have drawn on paper.
Use of Arabic allows some students to be confident in replying.
The continual feedback to the students will keep them focused, however, you need to ensure that you give
them time to answer or enter codes. Remember, these are little ones and are not as fast on the computer as
adults.

Comments:
Use of online tools for ss to draw the lifecycle is engaging and in real-time.
Immediate feedback for students in Nearpod assessment – when students have incorrect answers, get the
student to read the question to you. Help them to read the words and find the key answers. Just getting the
answer correct is one way to assess. If you have time to review the question with them, do so.

Questioning throughout and calling students by name
Questions were closed questions and very quick. Develop a few questions that allow students to think – what is
the next stage of the lifecycle? What do you see that tells you that? Same when answering the assessment at
the end.
Nearpod quiz is one way to review the content – ensure that when you are reviewing the content, that you
engage the students.

Comments:
Clear reflection on practice with links to theory. It is also important to identify opportunities to improve your
practice and the learning experiences in the classroom for all, some, a few or one of the students.
