RE: Appeal Against Cancellation of Work Pass Quota

Dear Sir/Madam,

We would like to seek your assistance with reference to Drop in Local Workforce Letter
(RRRRRRRRRRRR) that was sent last 06 Jan 2000. It was unfortunate that we have only received the
letter early yesterday (23 Jan 2000) as our main office is located offshore with virtual mailbox at
Maxwell House. The letter states that we don’t have any existing Local workforce hence, instructing
us to terminate all 29 excess work pass by 27 Jan 2000.

We are attaching our Bank transactions (Staff Payroll with payment listing as cross-reference) done
from October to December 1999 as proof of existing local Employees. For the past few months, our
company has been experiencing monetary constraints as one of our contracts with our largest client
has been suspended since 2017. We have managed it for quite some time, but it has greatly affected
our finances as evidenced by our delayed Levy and CPF payments.

We have taken steps to remedy the situation and made arrangements with Ms Grace, Officer. She
had advised us to pay CPF contribution due for a month first, but we are willing to pay all
outstanding to resolve this issue. Given that it’s over the Chinese New Year weekend, we intend to
make all the necessary payments by January 29, 2000 (Wednesday) with all the late payment
interest and other compensation.

Together with bank statements, we are attaching records of Levy and CPF Contributions made during
last quarter of 1999 as well.

IF cancellation of work passes is unavoidable and auto updated, we seek your assistance for
immediate reinstatement.

We will be more than willing to provide other documents upon your request.
We appreciate your favourable response regarding this matter. Thank you.

Respectfully yours,
