The Vegapuls 67 sensor is to be placed on the flange of the open feed hopper
or on a suitable place of the crusher structure.
a) Drill two holes on the location spot according to the measurements of the
Vegapuls 67 sensor holder assembly.
b) Mount the holder on the flange with two screws, washers and nuts.
c) To adjust the angle of the Vegapuls 67 sensor: loosen the nuts of the
holder assembly’s parts and direct the Vegapuls 67 sensor according to
previous guiding principles.
d) When finished tighten the nuts to secure the adjusted position.

The Vegapuls 67 sensor is to be placed on the dust encapsulating top of the
closed feed hopper.
a) Decide the location of the Vegapuls 67 sensor according to previous
guiding principles.
b) When the location is set, cut out a hole in the sheet metal of the dust
encapsulating top. The size should be less than 200 x 200 mm.
c) Take away all removable parts from the metal plate construction. This
includes nuts, washers, black and white mounting flanges and the
Vegapuls 67 sensor.
d) Weld together the metal plate construction with the dust encapsulating
top so that the plate covers the hole completely.
e) Reassemble the plate with the black and white flanges and the Vegapuls
67 sensor, but do not tighten the nuts.
f) Adjust the angle of the Vegapuls 67 sensor, according to previous
guiding principles. Do this by turning the two parts of the black
mounting flange.
g) When finished, tighten the nuts to secure the adjusted position.
