EMPLOYEE SUPERVISION

 An activity in which all the managers oversee the work of employees, there are
responsible for.
 What ever work the employee responsible in their day-to-day life,
manager has to supervise all those task.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SUPERVSER


 Basic: * manager play a vital role in overall development of their staff.
*they need to make sure that there are giving them the required
guidance and making sure that they have all the essential resources.
- to making sure that their department functioning in a smooth manner.
 Communication:
 Manager are the communication link between the top management and the
employee. (make sure that he has to be a good communicator)
 They interpret the policies to the staff and give they feedback to the top
management.
 Manager needs to make sure that his communication is clear, concise & very
apt to the particular situation .
 Challenges:
 Manager has to be able to manage the day-to-day challeges.
 Manager have a huge role to play in the performance of his subordinates
 Manager needs to be supportive & have a positive impact on his team
 Not use his power to ambush his team.
 Must known to lead by example
 Conflict management:
 Manager needs to make sure that workplace conflict is taken in healthy
manner.
 Responsibilities of manager to turn down certain heated disscutions
 Make sure everyone work together in harmony and in peace.

 Developing work team and individual employee skills and capabilities.
 Motivating employees.
 Formal performance review
 Disciplinary actions
 Scheduling.

 Good listener
 Need to be somebody who’s available for people
 Make sure that priority are set in right order and manner
 Needs to be person who’s very transparent in communication
 Need to delegate task not do everything by self.
 Taking responsibilities and giving credit.
 Realism.
