1. What is meant by acceleration and give an example?

Answer :
Acceleration is the change in velocity in a certain unit of time.
Example :
One student rides a bicycle with a speed of 7.2 km / hour. When climbing, the bicycle speed
is 0.5 m / s² for 4 seconds. What is the student's final acceleration?

discussion / answer:

Known :

V1 = 7.2 km / h = 7.2 (1,000 / 3,600) m / s = 2 m / s

A = - 0.5 m / s² (negative sign i.e. Deceleration)
T=4s
Wanted: v2…?

Solution:

A = (v2 - v1) / t
V2 = v1 + at
V2 = 4 + (- 0.5 × 2)
V2 = 3 m / s
V2 = 10.8 km / hour

2. What is meant by speed ?

what is the speed of leo if he is cycling from city a at 09.00 and his bike speed is 8km / h. If
he is expected to arrive at the destination at 14.00 but because of something, he is required
to arrive at 13.00 ?
Answer :
- A velocity vector quantity that indicates how fast an object is moving. The magnitude of
this vector is called the velocity and is expressed in meters per second (m / s or ms − 1).
- With a speed of 8km / h leo
- Depart = 09.00
- Until = 14.00
- So the travel time at a speed of 8km / hour is = 14.00-09.00 = 5 hours
- Speed = distance / time
- 8km / hour = distance / 5hours
- 8km / hour × 5 hours = distance
- Distance = 40km
- If he has to arrive at 13.00 then he must arrive in time
- 13.00-09.00 = 4 hours
- Speed = distance / time
- Speed = 40km / 4hours
- Speed = 10km / hour

3. The object's velocity during a 10 second time interval, is shown in the graph below

a. Determine the total distance the object traveled ?

b. What is the acceleration of the object at time t = 1 s and t = 6s ?

Answer :

A. Remember that the equation for velocity is v = x / t. If we solve this for x, we get x = v. T.
The total distance traveled by an object is simply the sum of this area

3 + 6 + 4.5 + 2 + 2 = 17.5

B. The formula for acceleration is a mean = ∆v / ∆t = ( v2 – v1 )/ (t2-t1)

a(t) = v2 – v1/ t2 -t1

 T= 1s
A (1) =3-0/2-0=3/2=1,5 m/s2
 T= 6s
A (6) = 2-3/9-4= -5/5 = -1 m/s 2

4. What is meant by regular straight motion

include the formula ?
Answer :
Regular straight motion (glb) is the straight motion of an object, where in this motion the
speed is constant due to the absence of acceleration, so the distance traveled in a regular
straight motion is speed times time.
formula :
v=s/t
5. What is meant by straight motion changing in order include the formula ?
Answer :
Glbb or regularly changing straight motion is the motion of an object in a straight path but
its acceleration is constant or constant. The difference between glb and glbb is that glb has
no acceleration, while glbb has acceleration.
formula :
s = vo.t + ½ a.t2
vt= vo + a.t
