The desert of La Tatacoa is located in the department of Huila, so the first stop or starting point
to get to the desert of La Tatacoa should be Neiva, which can be reached by bus from Bogotá in
about 4 or 5 hours, for 30,000 COP, and from Medellín for 80,000 COP, in a trip that lasts
between eleven and twelve hours. If you are in another city you can find cheap tickets to Neiva

How can you get there?

The Rio Claro Nature Reserve is located in the department of Antioquia, in a region known as
the middle basin of the Magdalena River.

You must enter the municipality of Jardín Antioquia approximately twenty-two minutes by car to
reach the reserve.

The Rio Claro Nature Reserve is a model of sustainable development for the conservation of the
last tropical forests.

1. Where is it?

the cathedal of salt is in the town of Zipaquirá, capital of the department of Cundinamarca, only
48 kilometers from Bogotá.

This municipality has a population of 126,409 inhabitants and is the second largest and most
populous municipality in the province, With an average temperature of 1 of 14˚C.

2. What can you do there?

Considered one of the best tourist sites, the cathedral is an old salt mine transformed into a
sanctuary, where tourists can start their journey on a beautiful ecological trail, they can also find
activities such as the canopy and the climbing wall.

Upon arrival at the cathedral, a guided tour is recommended. lasting between 1.5 and 2 hours so
you can listen to the information about this cathedral and learn the history of each of the sites

3. How can you get there?


From the bus terminal in the north of bogota, you can take a bus from Bogotá to the city of
Zipaquira, the ticket has a cost of 5,400 COP, the route takes about 1 hour.

from the city of medellin the bus ride is 7 hours and 20 minutes, you can also take a plane from
the jose maria cordoba airport to bogota with an approximate flight time of 0h 46min.
