Executive summary

Maria Abigail Tobilla have been involved with the food industry several years

back then. She had her first business, graham balls in the year 2018 in Bantayan,

Dumaguete City and her second which is the ice candy business at Batinguel,

Dumaguete City. Although she faced a lot of milestones upon her studies and business

life, it never hindered her to think of another special food business again. She pursued

marketing these products for it has the capability to bring new taste to the people.

Maria Abigail have developed buchi with four different fillings puffed inside

separately. They include chocolate, ube, caramel and cheese. The estimated shelf life

of the products is five days at refrigeration temperatures. Distribution of the Special

Crammed Buchi product will begin in the local area of Batinguel, Dumaguete City.

Financial analysis show that the company will have positive cash flow and profit

in the first year. The expected return on equity in the first year is 35%.

Description of the business

The industry where this Special Crammed Buchi belongs to is in the food

industry. This product is new not in the food industry but new in the Batinguel Katrina

Homes community. This business is owned by a sole proprietor Maria Abigail Tobilla

who have already experienced entering in the food industry before. The target

customers here are the kids and the young adults who love desserts that are quite

unique to them. According to the annual survey of Philippine Business and Industry,

baking of breads, cakes, pies, and many of them generated 27 percent of the survey

which means that there are a lot of Filipino people who order or demand these types of

products. One thing mentioned is pastry where the buchi belongs to. No one has

pursued this type of business there in Katrina, only Miss Tobilla. There, many are

looking for something new, different and affordable savored by their tongues. Why?

Because almost all of them, kids and adults try their best to set aside the stress that the

new normal have brought these days. Also, this product will be distributed through

online, phone calls and personal (home delivery) transactions without shipping fees.

Description of the product

Special Crammed Buchi provides home delivery whenever you need it during the

day with no charges added. It is very reachable through phone calls, online and even in

personal. Special Crammed Buchi is a pastry dessert and unlike other buchis, this one's

special. Maria Abigail Tobilla have reckoned few recipes for the fillings stuffed inside

the Buchi. Such fillings are cheese, chocolate, ube and caramel. These fillings

magnanimously complement with the “not so sweet” flavor of the dough of the Buchi.

These fillings offer new tastes and also offer 4 different choices to the buyers. The

estimated shelf life of the product when refrigerated lasts for 5 days. It's best to have

them as snacks during siestas or at 3:00 PM where family could gather and have quality

time together. This simple but delightful dessert is very affordable, can be a very good

environment is very approachable and friendly likewise the owner of this business

venture, so don’t ever hesitate to come.

Distribution of Crammed Special Buchis will begin in Katrina Uno Batinguel.

Tobilla plans to generate 3,600 sales within a year to 400 different individuals in the

Batinguel Community. Possible customers are from ages 7-35 years old, can be a child,

a teenager or even a parent. These Buchis are very affordable to almost all of the

people who are still studying or did not yet finished school or either ways. The owner

plans to be a distributor of Special Crammed Buchi in the nearby minimart, SJR. The

buchis to be distributed in the minimart will be half of the total made buchis. This way,

more sales could be generated. During this time of pandemic, craving for something

new is what people look for so these buchis are there, ready to satisfy their cravings.
