REFLECTION FROM THE SELLING ACTIVITY

Over the course of the selling activity, not only we were able to do the actual
retailing and generate revenue from it, we also learned life lessons from which
we will discussed individually in this paper.

“Sa ilang linggo naming pagbebenta i learned a lot about marketing

strategy to earn money easily and to sell the product to the costumer
and this kind of selling food product to our fellow students and
classmate we learn how to handle the costumer and improving my self-
confidence para makipag usap sa costumer to make sales talk one of i
learned in our selling especially on how to convince them to buy our
product and to get back profit high and also gaining customer loyalty to
buy our product because habang nagbebenta kami ng paulit ulit
napapansin ko na mas bumabago yong way of communication namin sa
customer on how to sell our product the way po convincing them is hindi
na masyadong kailangan because nakuha na namin yong loyalty nila
samin because of our product they buy that are good and also
affordable price because in selling i learned a lot of this because not
only in malaking kita but we need to focus to find a customer more and
buying our product without hesitation to think if this are good or meron
bang benefits to them or wala ba dahil in selling a lot of different in terms
of communicating customer to earn tubo even thought if it is high or low
but we gain customers more because of product they want and afford
price them”- BARLUADO, RENEIELE

“The selling activity was indeed fun and full of lessons. We started with
almost a zero income on our first day of selling because of our imperfect
decision making and it was one of the best lessons I learned in a
business to always ensure that you mark up your retail prices to offset
the expenses you had when creating the product. Honestly, the selling
activity was really of out my league and it is something that I am not
really good at, and so we also had hard time in getting sales in just a
day. Now, I realized that business was really about being passionate
and determined in selling and communicating with people, it is always
important that you give them good impression and left them with good
impression too. The quality of the product you make reflects the
credibility of your business, we had received some negative feedbacks
from our products and we take them not as a negative one but a positive
because it gives us way on what to improve. Decision making was very
crucial in a retail business, it drives the operations so any wrong move
will be a ripple effect to the rest of the process. In our selling activity, we
really had a number of conflicting ideas but we were able to address it
by evaluating each ideas, in partnership businesses like I us I wonder
how do they able to arrive at decisions that fosters fair and healthy
partnership. Moreover, the selling activity has brought me a realization
that retail wasn’t really easy, and making a money out of it was made
from a chain of risks and strategic decisions.”- DIOCARISA, JAY R

“last week we have an activity which is we experienced selling different

kinds of food on campus, i learned from our experience that selling is
not easy. Kailangan marunong makipagusap at maconvince yung
costumer to buy our product. And also, we need to be more confident to
talk in-front of our customers. Being seller is kailangan din magkaroon
ng time management and team work para maging successful ang
pagikot ng business”- PALAY, BEA

“Reflecting from the selling activity, I realized that selling was really
about convincing customers to buy your products. Business is really
about convincing customers to make business with you, or to buy your
products, or to avail your services, and if you were not convincing
enough, they might not buy. And so, communicating in convincing
manner to the customers should always be one of the priorities, and as
for someone like me who’s not really good at communication skills, I find
the activity really hard. However, if some can why can’t I?, I think it’s
also about believing in yourself and in your co-partners in the business.
Business isn’t a one day millionaire scenario, a lot of risks takes and
because of this activity I realized to always strive harder because good
thing comes to those who wait patiently.”-JAPAY, KENETH JAY
