CHAPTER I

INTRODUCTION

Socio-entrepreneurship is a yearly program that is implemented in Noah Middle School.

Noah Middle School is a school in East Jakarta which has a “Learning to give” program that is

implemented in this socio-entrepreneurship. In the program. Students will plan, create, and

operate their own business. For this academic year, 9th-grade students will open their own

businesses based on the “National Products'' theme. All of the profit made by students will be

donated to MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium, Enterprises) in need by the school. This

program could train students to excel in managing a real business and learn about helping others

by donating. This year, we are selling 2 products which are Pempek and Teh Tarik.

Pempek
Pempek (also called empek-empek) is a fish-flavoured dish served
with a typical Palembang black sauce called cuko.
Capital price: Rp16,000.00,
Selling price: Rp23,000.00
Profit: Rp7,000.00

Teh Tarik
Teh Tarik is a sweet drink in the form of a mixture of tea and milk
which is commonly found in Southeast Asia, especially Indonesia.
Capital price: Rp6,000.00
Selling price: Rp10,000.00
Profit: Rp4,000.00

CHAPTER II

RESEARCH

Our products have their own positive and negative sides. We have carefully considered

and discussed predictions and risks of what will happen when we sell them. Our products have

their own strengths. Pempek is easy to eat as a snack or as the main course. Our Pempek also has

a savory taste of fish mixture that feels chewy in every bite, combined with a variety of flavor

choices. Other than that, our product also has weaknesses, such as limited shelf life because the

ingredients are fresh and does not use preservation. Also, it’s quite unfortunate that the price of

our Pempek is expensive for some people.

Our business luckily also has already existing aspects that lead to opportunities when

selling our products, one of the opportunities is the deliciousness and cultural values contained in

Pempek. This good taste could allow us to attract more customers. It is also known that younger

generations like fried products that are salty just like Pempek. This socio-entrepreneurship

program is also an opportunity for us to sell and make a lot of profit to donate.

But of course, when it comes to business, there are also existing risks and threats that

could harm our business. Because all the groups in our class simultaneously sell our products

together, then pempek will have a competition with other snacks provided by other groups that

may be cheaper or better in quality.

We do not produce Pempek, but we resell them from another supplier. We bought the

pempek from the Pempek Tekwan Rizky shop because it was very close to Noah Middle School,

the price is affordable, and the product quality was good. Before selling, of course, we have

screened the products so that the products we sell have the best quality.

Teh Tarik:

1. Dairy milk

2. MaxTea Teh tarik powder

4. Shaker

How to make Teh Tarik:

1. Prepare milk, ice cube, MaxTea powder, and shaker

2. First, pour MaxTea powder into the shaker

3. Pour 100 mL of milk into the shaker

4. Shake milk and MaxTea powder in the shaker

5. Pour Teh Tarik into the glass and put ice cubes in it

6. Enjoy the drink while it's cold

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, our business has achieved a remarkable milestone by successfully reaching

our set target which is a profit of Rp1.000.000,00. This accomplishment is a testament to the

hard work, dedication, and strategic planning of our entire team. Our focused efforts in

optimising the business preparations, engaging with customers, and innovating our product

offerings have paid off, leading to significant growth and a strong market position. As we

celebrate this success, we also look forward to setting new goals and continuing our journey

toward even greater achievements.

Socio-entrepreneurship - An activity of building a business to give a positive impact, socially,

by donating and doing positive actions from profits of the business.
