EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

We had always seen wrapper as commonly used on foods with a lot

of components, such as lumpiang shanghai, lumpiang sariwa, and turon,

which are expensive. Sweet Popiah, our company, now wants to make a

difference. To provide a sweet taste of food at a reasonable price, we

decided to put and sell a three-layered fried wrapper with chocolate syrup

on it. Since many people are unaware of the wrapper's lower cost and

distinctive functionality, it makes our product stand out and attracts

buyers. Sweet Popiah will perform a rent-based business and sell the

product, fried wrapper, to the students of Timoteo Paez Integrated

School.

The company's starting capital is ₱10,000, which is enough to cover

one month's expenses. The income is estimated to be ₱83,300 for six

months, with total production costs of ₱77,050

Apple Elcano in Divisoria
Paper Plate Puregold in Pritil

Process, and equipment that will be used to manufacture the

product/ render the service:

Below is the procedure we did to prepare our product.

1. Getting the ingredients ready.

2. Shredding the wrappers.

3. Cut the selected fruit into pieces.

4. Prepare the stove and the cauldron, put at least ½ cup of vegetable oil.
5. Open the stove and wait for 2 to 3 minutes to heat the oil.

6. Cook the wrappers one at a time, until it becomes brown.

7. Pile every cooked wrapper on the paper plate.

8. Pour some chocolate syrup into each wrapper and arrange the sliced

fruit on the top of the piled wrappers.

9. Then, it’s done. You can serve it now.

Production/ Service Process and Controls:

The good quality of the Sweet Popiah product will be produced

hand-made. We strictly follow cleanliness that’s why before we proceed in

making the product we make sure that our hands are clean and all of us

are wearing ppt. The wrapper or the popiah, the chocolate syrup, and the

banana and apple fruit will be freshly ordered so that the insurance of the

expiration date will be noticed, like the wrapper — will be checked if there

are any molds. The wrappers will be cooked (wait until they became

brown) on a stove, one by one, and will be put on a paper plate. Next to

that is the popiah, on every single layer, which will be filled with the

chocolate syrup and after that, either the banana or the apple toppings

will be put on the top layer. After the production of the product, it will be

served to the customers properly and carefully and they might give

feedback on our product if they want to. The product must be eaten as

soon as it is served to prevent the unnatural taste or the texture of the

food.

Distribution logistics:

To begin, Sweet Popiah will rent one stall where we will sell our

products. On average, we will sell 100-200 pieces of wrapper per day. As

the demand increases, we will increase the number of products we will

sell in order to provide and satisfy our customers.

Regulatory and other compliance issues:

Sweet Popiah’s business will be registered as a single proprietor

enterprise. A barangay clearance and business permit will also be secured

before it applies for a Mayor's permit to operate as a rent-based business.
