Introducing the Sound:

My MST asked students to sing a jolly
song to review Phonics that they took. 
Teachers ask students what phonics
that we will learn today? and she chose
one student to answer the question. 
Teacher says sound /h/ sound and she
hold her mirror and see her lips
movement and she put the mirror in
front her mouth and begin say: /h/ .. /h/
sound.
Teacher ask student to use their mirror
and open their camera Then make letter
/h/ sound.   open their camera, Then
Teacher uses a list of words then she
asks the student to hole the mirror and
read this list. The teacher gives
examples to her students. She hold her
mirror and say:-
/h/../h/ hop
/h/../h/ hen
words:- head, hat, hill, hours,
house, hold, help and hen
Hearing the Sound in the initial
position:
Teacher ask students to listen to her
and told them that she will say words
that has sound /h/ and they have to tell
her if it is sound in the beginning word or
last of the word?
Words: - hot, she, fish and hop.
Teacher play another activity that blend
the letters for example h/..e/ = he
The student sang a jolly song
and did some movement.
Student try to sing Alphabet
song to find what letter come
after ‘’i’’
Students listen and look
at their teacher. Also, they
look at her mouth carefully
when she makes a letter /h/
sound.  and I will use it in my classroom.
Students use their mirror and
make a letter /h/ sound.
Students listen to the teacher
and some of them repeat
words with her.
Student read this words for
teacher by use their mirror
and look at their lips. 
Students try to listen to /h/
sounds in the words and try
to answer. 
Students listen to their
teacher and some of student
use their whiteboard and 
The students enjoy this song and
they are ready to fast and begin the
jolly song and do some movements. 
Teacher tries to help them so she
asks them to sing the alphabet song
louder.
Teacher tries to model for students
this activity. I really like the idea that
we use a mirror. It is really helpful
 
Students like this activity because it
is not familiar for them and it was the
first time they used it in the class. 
Students like to repeat letters /h/
sound with their teacher. My MST
listens to them and she smiles.
The teacher gives the student time to
read these words to her, when the
student reads words incorrectly she
tries to remind them to sing jolly
phonics.   
This activity help student to
recognize sound /h/.
Some students cannot blend the
words and teachers give them some
digital games as homework.

Introducing the Writing of the Sound:

Students listen to teachers I think students need to use a

the air. then she ask them to use
