At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
1. explain how a selection may be influenced by culture, history, environment, or other
factors.
2. appreciate the overall artistic value of the structure and elements of the selection.
3. give expanded definition of words.
A. Content Standards
The learner demonstrates an understanding of how world literature and other text types
serve as source of wisdom in expressing and resolving conflicts among individuals, groups and
nature; also how to use evaluative reading, listening, and viewing strategies, special speeches for
occasion, pronouns and structures of modification.
