SCENE 1: S1 will be sir (Anupam), S2, S3, S4 will be students (Arnav, Sarionah, Tanushka)

ANUPAM: Good morning students

Arnav, Sarionah, Tanushka: Good morning miss/sir

TANUSHKA and ARNAV:Good morn..ing.. sir

ANUPAM: Are you all excited for today’s maths class

SARIONAH :( excitedly) yes miss /sir

TANUSHKA: Miss/Sir maths is so boring !

ARNAV: Yes miss/sir

ANUPAM: Why do you think so ?

TANUSHKA : It’s so confusing

ANUPAM: Hmmm, then let’s clear your confusions

ARNAV: How?

ANUPAM: Let’s see, today we are going to learn about the”CONCEPT OF TRIANGLES”

ARNAV:Good morning one and all present here, as we all know today we all are gathered here on
this online platform for this year’s maths culmination
TANUSHKA: And we all welcome you all here. This maths culmination is presented by the students
of grade 7L.

SARIONAH:The topic for the day is concepts of triangle.

ANUPAM:This culmination is presented by Arnav ,Tanushka ,Anupam and Sarionah

SARIONAH:so let’s go ahead

ANUPAM: Now students tell me what is a triangle?

SARIONAH : (excitedly) It is a shape with 3 sides

ANUPAM: Is it only the shape with 3 sides only , or is there something more ?

SARIONAH: No no sir there is more(point towards the vertex) where any two sides of a triangle
meet, it is called a vertex.

ANUPAM : YES YOU ARE RIGHT.

ANUPAM: and In triangle ABC, the angles BAC, ABC and ACB are called interior angles. The
important thing is that the sum of all interior angles is 180*

TANUSHKA: Sir are these angles called interior angles because they lie inside the triangle ?

ANUPAM: Yes ,now you are understanding it

ARNAV: Sir if there is an interior angle there must be an exterior angle too.
ANUPAM:Yes ,when any side of a triangle is produced the angle so formed, outside the triangle and
at Its vertex, is called its exterior angle.

SARIONAH : For example here (shows the diagram end points) For given triangle ABC, if side BC is
produced to the point D , then triangle ABC is it’s exterior angle
ARNAV: (everyone comes in role again) Oh! Wow it was so interesting can you teach us more about
triangles

ANUPAM: ok students so now tell me where do you see the triangles in daily life ?

(everyone starts thinking)

TANUSHKA:Sir , the slice of a pizza forms a triangle right ?

arnav: hmm delicious !

SARIONAH : and sir many sign boards are also in triangle form ,isn't it ?
ANUPAM: Yes you both are right , so tell me do they look alike or there is a difference between
their sides of the triangle?
SARIONAH : yes sir many triangles have three sides equal and some triangles also have 2 sides
equal.

ARNAV : And sir some triangles also have all sides different.

ANUPAM : good observation children , so as you said there are three different types of triangles
based on their sides and also there are three different types of triangles based on their angles so
can you name those

arnav : yes sir i can name one ,acute angle triangle whose each angle is less than 90*

sarionah: sir there is one more called right angled triangle whose one angle is 90 *
tanushka : Sir , i have heard about one more triangle called Obtuse angled triangle whose one angle
is more than 90 *

Anupam : There also are three more types of triangles based on the sides which are scalene ,
isosceles and equilateral . In scalene triangle all its sides and angles are unequal .In isosceles
triangle only two of its sides are equal .

Arnav : And sir i think in an equilateral triangle all its sides must be equal along with its angles .

sarionah :If a circle passes through all three vertices of a triangle, it is called the circumcircle
of the triangle.

(anupam pointing towards ppt)

Arnav : If a circle is drawn, inside a triangle, such that it touches all the three sides of the triangle.
(anupam pointing towards ppt)
[CONCLUSION]

ARNAV: So nice I liked this lesson very much

Tanushka i had never thought maths could be fun

SARIONAH: Me too

TANUSHKA: Me also

ARNAV: I never knew that there was so much about triangles
