Today’s lesson is about the History of the Local Chuch of Antique that includes The Episcopal
Consecration of Bishop Cornelio De Wit, MHM,DD. At the end of the lesson, you are expected to
be able to be able to know the beginning of the Diocese of Antique where most of you belong.
To start with, open the video clip entitled, “Bishop de Wit: a missionary, a visionary and a man of
God.”.
1. Who is Bishop De Wit and how do you know him?
2. What do mean by a missionary?

Next open the PowerPoint presentation entitled: Diocese of Antique. After reading what is in the
powerpoint try to answer for yourself the following questions. You need not turn in your answer
because you will have you summative test within the week.
