Hira: and so are you are you willing to take to participate in this

Misbah: yes

Hira: thank you thank you so much

Misbah: no problem

Hira: So, tell me a bit about yourself what are your interests what are you currently doing?

Misbah: okay so I'm a bba junior here at IBA and my interests lie mostly with regards to baking I
like baking and besides that I guess I also like the sports playing badminton player

Hira: so so how has been your you know you're studying BBA right

Misbah: yeah
Hira: how's that coming along so far

Misbah: it's going good it's going good alhumdulilah

Hira:and are you taking like online sessions or in person classes

Misbah: I am taking online sessions mostly now.

Hira:so we'll talk a little more about you know how you're dealing with your online classes and
all of that so tell me have you first previously let's say taking any courses specifically online
Misbah: Oh yeah so I took one course it will school financial markets and institutions I took it
back in quarantine and I took that course because it was part of our curriculum for my financial
management course here at idea so I took that online course which I completed and besides
that also voluntarily took some courses on Excel but those were not completed

Hira: oh OK that's interesting so I want to ask you a bit more about why you know firstly let's
let's talk about the financial management course that you talk which was part of your FM
course right

Misbah:yeah

Hira:so it wasn't it was a course that was made compulsory by the instructor yeah

Misbah:yeah yeah it was made compulsory

Hira: out of three you were able to finish that because of the grade requirement

Misbah: yes yes I was able to finish that

Hira: okay but but did you enjoy it the course

Misbah: so honestly speaking I did not understand anything from that course I re watched the
videos a lot of time but I didn't quite catch it on the videos were really long so you know I used
to get zoned out so in the end what I did was that I took the quizzes and I did the assignment
without even properly watching the videos but I still got the grades so that's how I think yeah
no we are but I didn't get any learning from that course even though I tried watching videos
and I tried to understand it but I didn't quite catch yourself
Hira: little bit more about this you know the fact that you took up a course which was an which
was made compulsory by your instructor and given the you took was from a you know a well
reputable website let's say a platform already what a platform as it again course so it's
refutable platform and they try to make the courses as engaging as possible but you you just
told me that you know in your experience that was you know that was not the case and you felt
like it was at a stretch so tell me a bit more about it like what you think was lacking in the
course that actually drive or steered your motivation to complete that course in another
direction
Misbah: I'm okay so I I guess one of the reasons would be that since that was kind of a
requirement that was the course I took it was not you know I was not interested in that in
taking that course so I didn't you know start completing it by by the early semester but I
completed it like 5 days before the deadline so at that time even though you know I tried to
watch the videos again and again it was also the time pressure that you know that made me
just take the quizzes directly instead of watching the videos and reading the notes etcetera
properly but it was also that I didn't have any interest in that force in the 1st place so I didn't
want to spend my energy watching the video watching the entire videos and it had like around
10 - 12 video so I guess that's why I didn't enjoy that course
Hira: and for you the content was not engaging enough it was not interesting enough to keep
you hooked to the course on
Misbah: the content I would say the instructor in that course he was trying to make it engaging
but again it was not of my interest so no all I could see was financial calculations and equations
on that screen and I didn't like that was not my interest I didn't find it very enjoyable and I
didn't I used to zone out when I used to watch those videos
Hira: Acha this is very interesting that the fact that you pointed out here that all you could see
on the screen which financial equations and formulas himself so were you were you aware of
the formulas previously
Misbah: yeah I was aware of them
Hira: and had had you used them before
Misbah: yes I had
Hira: You know because at times the certain things that we do not really know of and the
instructor on the other hand assumes that you know we are knowledgeable about it or we have
prior knowledge of it so you know we could do it on it on our own and then you know they take
they take it up on their selves basically kids alone now that then
Misbah:yeah
Hira:is that sort of knowledge base so I can skip this part and I could you know skip to that part
so even that was not the problem here
Misbah: actually that was not the problem because the instructor he know he explained those
from the scratch you know some parts of those videos it was too slow for me because I had
already learned them in my financial management course and then suddenly he would jump to
something totally new that I hadn't learned so it was kind of like a mismatch I didn't quite catch
it because of that
Hira:tell me a little more about the tools that you were required to use while taking an online
course where you were aware of these tools
Misbah: what tools what do you mean by tools so you know What tools what do you mean by
tools
Hira: so you know you took the course on course data and sometimes they some courses have
prerequisites right
Misbah: mhm
Hira: so did you know what what prerequisites that that FIM course have I'm
Misbah: it didn't have any pre-requisite for that course it was a beginners course
Hira:now tools as in you know they were they wanted you to know of Excel use of Excel or
Misbah: no no no it was basic and there was no use of Excel in that course it was just explaining
us about financial management financial calculations and yeah it was it wasn't like too
advanced there was a very beginner scores where they lay the foundation of finance and
financial calculations so yeah it was huh
Hira: let's come to what motivates you generally this tell me generally what motivates you
Misbah: I'm what motivates me I'm if there is something which I feel is going to benefit me in
the future and you know I know that if I do this in the future this is going to reap benefits that
could motivate me into pursuing that thing
Hira: okay, that’s interesting
Misbah: yeah
Hira: I wanna go back to when you told me that you took two courses one was from addicts and
it was the fun if im which was closer are both welcome cursor a course made compulsory by
your instructor and this other one that you'd look which was out of your own free will no tell
me about that for what course was that about what were you required to do in that course and
Misbah: OK so that course was an Excel basic Excel course and that I started a specialisation
where we had to do 4 courses so now that I remember I didn't complete the entire
specialisation because then the semester started and I had other engagements but I did
complete one course from that and yeah and that course it was the basic Excel essential course
and I'm sorry I forgot what the question was
Hira: my question was tell me about the course and take it to her what the course was the
description
Misbah: yeah it was a basic Excel course basic exports and end
Hira: but you have any prior knowledge of Excel
Misbah: yeah I I do have prior knowledge of Excel but I started that course because I wanted to
learn the shortcuts an I basically I wanted to move onto the specialisation and advanced Excel
but I thought it's better if I also learned the beginners Xcel 1 more time to learn any new things
or shortcuts which I already don't know
Hira: but you were still unable to complete this specialisation course that you took upon
Misbah: yeah I didn't complete the specialisation course which had four courses but one of
those four courses I did complete
Hira: but but but you know you said it you know you were motivated by something that you
perceived will be useful for me in the future
Misbah: Yes
Hira: and you were more likely to take up on that course but here you know you were able to
complete only one course out of the four specialisation courses tell me about the circumstances
that you were in you know leave the course midway
Misbah: okay so one OK so there were two things that happened one was that at that time I
was doing my internship as well so in the internship they had an Excel workshop where they
themselves taught all those Excel essentials and you know it even touched upon advanced Excel
where they taught you know how it is applicable in the business environment and that was
essentially my goal to to learn how people use Excel in the corporate organisation so they
taught us that over there so after you know I got acquainted with that I know it still kept me
motivated to continue with the course but then as I told my semester started in IBA and then I
didn't get anytime to continue with those courses
Hira: yeah but what I'm seeing here is that you know you took up the scores to familiarise
yourself with concepts and get a acquainted with the Excel language and all that stuff but also
while you were doing your internship you were introduced and you did familiarize yourself
with the Excel exactly
Misbah: yeah yeah even
Hira: did yeah uh you know determined determined you're you know attitude toward not
attitude let's let's simplify simplify it for you was it the point where you realise the okay now
that I've learned that here it's no use of taking me taking up a course again an online platform
because
Misbah: uh I think I think part of it part of this with the reason for that but I also feel there were
so many other things in that course which I didn't learn from that Excel workshop and I know
now you know if I if I'm being honest I don't remember each and everything I learned from that
workshop right now I'll have to go back and watch that video again and familiarise myself with
that because I don't actively practise Excel right now so I know sometimes I still think of taking
up that course again but then again I have a lot of deadlines and time constraints so I don't find
time to do that
Hira: so for E learning or when you are taking an online course you need to you know what
what what do you see when you taking an easy course when you're choosing a course online
what do you look for it OK
Misbah: so I when I'm choosing an online course I see I first go through the syllabus that course
will teach me because every course I have a goal that I want to learn this this thing from the
course so for example I saw this advanced Excel codes and I went through the syllabus and I
thought the so they were also also teaching MySQL an big big data and all that stuff and I
wanted to learn that so this is one thing that I do see in the course besides that I also once I
start the course I check how engaging the instructor is how long the videos are if the videos are
too long then I generally don't like doing that course so yeah
Hira: elaborate a little bit of on how long or what is the ideal timing for you know
Misbah: I guess 5 to 9 minutes that's the ideal oil maximum 10 minutes that should be the ideal
time for a video yeah yeah maybe
Hira: I want to talk about you know and that John how you you know evaluator course basically
on strengths and weaknesses what you think like an you know you've taken up these courses
some of which you took by you know because you were forced into it you were forced into it
and some one of them you took by your own free will can you compare your own motivation
levels in those courses
Misbah: okay so the ones I took by myself I was motivated to do them rather than the ones I
took by force up the ones I took for example the finance course my motivation we can call it
motivation was to get the grade in my financial management course and that's why you know I
completed that course I still completed that course but I didn't enjoy it I didn't learn it and and
you at the end of the day I don't see it as a useful course becausr mostly whatever was taught
in that course we had already learned in rcb S financial management course The finance online
course most of the content we had already learned in our course at IBS so yeah and I'm sorry I
forgot I asked you to compare your level degree of yeah yeah yeah so the other course the
Excel course in that you know I was motivated in that course because I used to come you know
like set a time and watch the videos and attempt the quizzes everyday so yeah if I have to
compare my motivation levels it was definitely higher in the course I took by my own will also
Hira: also describe the kind of you know E learning environment that you had for the course for
both of these courses actually me learning environment as in woman or a better experience
you will come to that to home environment as well but tell me in terms of your experience you
know the instructor experience the course how did they take you through the course was it
self-paced, were you able to comprehend
Misbah: no okay so one thing I notice that the finance scores the instructor used to touch upon
no kind of irrelevant things or things I could not relate to because they were talking about the
US economy and US financial market ET cetera so they will touch upon some historic no
scholars finance scholars or they will talk about the Federal Reserve or some banks and I could
not personally relate to that because I'm living in another country I'm living in Pakistan and you
know they're talking about the US economy and stuff so I could not relate to that so for most
parts I used to you know skip to the next part because you know where I used what I wanted
from that course was to learn the content of financial what at least what I wanted in the start
when I started that financial financial institutions and market scores was to learn something
about the content of you know how you looked at financial markets etcetera but it was getting
at some points it was getting very irrelevant so I did not like that um however in the Excel
course instead of the instructor teaching you something it was just an Excel screen where they
were doing calculations and I found it better because it was to the point there was no irrelevant
stuff you know they were talking about it was to the point they were just showing you
calculations and that's what I wanted to learn and even but even in that I one thing I do in all
my courses is that I increase the speed of the video because I yeah because I want to catch all
that information in the least amount of time so I did that in the Excel courses as well but it
worked out for me because it was calculations and it was on the scene so it was easier to
understand new information for thank you
Hira: all what you trying to tell me here what I understand from it is that the nature of the
scores has a really important it has a lot of influence on the kind of motivation you have for the
force or how you how you perceive that particular course to be useful for you in the future or
not
Misbah: yes definitely the course I could more that I could relate to more or it has content that
could that would be useful for me I would be more motivated to learn that tell me about the
kind of satisfaction you derived from these two forces steward in the finance course I didn't the
only satisfaction I gain from that is that I could submit the certificate to my teacher and she
would assign me a grade and however from the Excel course I did achieve higher satisfaction
because it familiarised with me the basic Excel concept yeah and you know since I'm a business
graduate Excel is like it's everyone needs to know Excel if there studying business so yeah it was
very helpful for me
Hira: so yeah about the kind of you know you felt in power when you were able to you know
use the video clips and you know turn them onto a 2 you you would speed them up right no do
cover as much content as possible in the most you know minimum amount of time so tell me
how what kind of you know these courses provide did these courses provided you with a
certain let level of autonomy an if even if they did work to what extent did they provide you
with in with power and like you know made you feel like you were in power or control of
resources also
Misbah: erm it definitely made me feel empowered because others do not while I'm studying
courses in while I'm attending attending physical classes in IBA over there sometimes the
teacher goes a little off topic or starts talking about something irrelevant or there are gaps in
between the lectures and you know we still have to sit there and go through that but in the
online course I could easily know skip some parts where the teacher is you know fighting is like
citing a lot of examples or like I've understood the content and move and I want to move
forward so I could easily do that in the online course yeah it was helpful in that aspect okay that
Hira: that was very insightful now coming to the kind of strategies that these programmes that
you took on online what kind of which of those strategies if you know let's talk about the
programme that you really like an you had a considerable amount of interest in it and you were
also motivated enough to complete it tell me about you know the strategies and interventions
and tools that they used and you would consider those to be you know key programme
elements
Misbah: can you elaborate on strategies or tools what do you mean by that what time
Hira: I'll just simplify it for you but I'm trying to ask you here is that you know the programme
that you considered to be you know of your interest and you were motivated to complete that
course we're talking about the Excel course motivated to complete now these programme now
obviously when there curating such programmes they look into strategies they look into you
know instructor methodologies while creating the programme so that they keep the student or
whoever is taking the course online obviously these are self paced courses so you know they
use some tools or techniques that keep the student hooked to the programme you know
though I would want you to tell me if there were any techniques that they used which you
thought or which according to you stood out and kind of like you know made you more
interested in the course or you felt like you were more engaged in the course
Misbah: um I would say since both courses were very different formats for example the finance
course I took it was a an instructor who had a board and he was teaching something and he was
trying to be engaging or whatever but the other Excel course there was no instructor it was just
a screen of Excel and where you know and there was a voice over here and in that course the I
mean I don't I didn't think it was engaging or the whoever was doing the voice over really tried
to make it engaging it was pretty basic they were just showing what they are doing and Eve and
yeah so it was not it was not very engaging even the excel course but the cause the videos were
like 6 minutes or 10 Minutes or 10 minutes that kind of you know like helped me help me watch
the entire course because the videos were very short on the other hand the finance course the
instructor did I think his way of trying to make it engaging would be like citing examples and
relating it to the US economy but I didn't find it engaging because I could not personally relate
to that I thought
Hira: one more thing here before I move onto something else you know the outlook of the
platform that you were using for your online courses where they good enough for you to
understand and navigate through did they affect your or influence your mood in you know
using that platform to do other courses
Misbah: yeah that both for both of the courses I used Coursera and it was it has pretty user
friendly interface and even besides these two courses I took up additional courses which I didn't
complete and those were mostly out of my own will but yeah the user interface it was really
good and coursera
Hira: tell erm is well you you just mentioned that you know you took up other horses but you
were unable to complete those or finish those but why is that so first attempted because
obviously you were interested in the past which is why you took this courses okay
Misbah: so I'm okay I'll I'll explain from the beginning there was one course I took it was called
marketing analytics and I took that course and I think I completed two weeks of it but I couldn't
continue forward the reason was that that it was also even though it was also a very Excel
centric course but the videos were like 30 minutes long or 25 minutes long and I could not
maintain my focus for that long amount of time especially while I was seeing just a screen in
front of me an Excel screen the instructor again in this course the there was no instructor who
was talking or explaining something on the board it was just a screen with a voice over so I I
could not continue with that course also because my in my semester started so I didn't I didn't
have time to do that besides that I there's this course I took on edx and it was a computer
programming course this gives a discourse on the other hand it was an instructor who was
talking and explaining stuff and and one of the reasons that motivated me to take this course
was that it was a Harvard course like by Harvard University and the instructor he was really
engaging like to explain I really enjoyed that course and you know if I could actually recall the
content of that course right now because the way he explained computer programming which
is something you would do on a computer you know like showing how programming works or
works or showing the tools used he related it with real world examples and he talked in a very
engaging manner and I like that course but then again I wasn't able to continue with it because
the videos over here were like one hour or half 1 1/2 hour long so I didn't continue with that
course as well
Hira: okay there's one thing that I'm constantly hearing from your end is that you know you
were part of you part of the reason why you were unable to complete these courses that you
took out of your own free will was that you know they they couldn't retain your attention so
span here seems to be you know if I'm not wrong seems to be a little problematic so do you do
realise that for your own self
Misbah: okay so one I wouldn't call it problematic because you know whilst I'm sitting in
physical classes I can maintain my attention span for one hour 15 minutes I could understand
what the teacher is saying in many courses I actually enjoy sitting in my classes but I in E
learning platforms I guess at one point you know you're staring at the screen constantly I I also
sometimes get eye strain and headaches while I'm on the screen for that long amount of time
and I'm trying to focus on what they're trying to say yeah that I guess that's part of the reason
why I don't like really long with yours I you know like courses which are one hour or 1 1/2 are
long as compared to videos that might be 10 minutes or 5 minutes song that that that I find
more feasible and videos which where the content is to the point the instructor tries to make it
engaging but also doesn't you know cite irrelevant examples or like examples which I cannot
relate to
Hira: okay so I'm sorry I didn't mean to offend you by calling it problematic don't I understand
you fine like a better word for it but I think it's quite justifiable now because obviously there are
like you know like right just now you point it out factors like you know constantly staring at the
screen gives you eye strain and for all even though actually more about these kind of you know
because I see I see that there is a constant current theme of you know you having to do with
you know you think in your experience the video should be shorter in length right yes and there
should be more to you know just to the point videos with with more you know real world
applicable examples that are not just specific to a culture
Misbah: yeah yeah exactly
Hira: tell me also tell me a little more about how your in you know studying environment is at
home while you taking up these online courses because obviously you know there's certain
assumptions that we make when a student is or an individual is taking up the forces action we
think that they might have an Internet stable Internet conneetion and all that tell me a bit
about is that okay so my home environment is pretty learning friendly I have a stable Internet
conneection and most of the time when I'm studying I don't you know face any disturbances
external disturbances
Misbah: yeah so it's it's a good environment at home one thing I realised was that while I was
taking that financial market scores I'm I mentioned earlier over there are one thing which was
which I think was also a factor which you know didn't because of which I couldn't learn so much
from the course was that I tried to complete it in a very short amount of time because of the
because it had a deadline and becausr I was under a sort of time pressure I think that kind of
influenced that kind of influenced me not learning so much out of it and just you know fast
forwarding the videos initially I did try to watch a video properly and understand it but I didn't
you know try again and again to understand what they're trying to say because I had a deadline
to meet
Hira: yeah yeah tell me I think this is more of anopen you know you could say anything you
want to with this point because I really would want to know you know if you were designing the
force for let's say no being online for someone designing it for students or individuals of any age
group let's say i need you but you know let's say preferably from 22 year old 20 year old to 30 I
think that is right it's okay what how would you go about it how would you want you know like
just highlight some key points here that you want to keep in mind while designing this course
for them online for than you want them to be engaging and that it also and trust them and
know meet their expectations how would you go about it name
Misbah: okay so I think the first thing I would probably look at is that what kind of students I am
catering to or making that course for as in are those students you know am I making that coarse
visible for the global audience or am I making it only four students in Pakistan or students in my
University that that thing I would look at I would perceive that because then I could you know if
I try to make it engaging by giving them examples I would relate to such examples that you
know that is more relatable to them or they might find that happens in their daily lives I would
try to relate it with that Secondly one thing which I would I would try to make those videos for
the course shorter like try to keep them at 12 minutes Max not longer than that and besides
that an for example if there is like this one course which has a lot of content that needs to be
covered so instead of like making that into one course having around you know 5-6 videos with
five - six are videos I would divide that those courses do three other courses and I would
instead keep the videos like 5 videos each course for like 5 between 5 to 12 minutes each video
so I guess another another thing that happens well while I am taking courses is that I get a
sense of satisfaction when I complete the quizzes or I receive a certificate from a course that
gives me a sense of satisfaction so instead for me at least instead of having one course they
have to watch around one or two 1 1/2 hour videos lot of videos like that in just receiving one
certificate in the end it wouldn't you know it's a lot of thought it's a lot of Labour in for me do
you know try to do that course instead if I complete three courses which have that same kind of
content but in shorter videos and I receive tickets in the end that would bring me more
satisfaction so I would keep that in mind as well and as far as the content of the course goes I
think it depends a lot on the content of the course or the topic of the course for example if it's
like a technical course where I'm trying to teach them about a particular software or some
technical skill I don't think you know you can make it very engaging because in the end you are
just you know there's the software screen in front of them and you're just showing them how
to do the how to do the calculations or whatever so I don't think that that could be engaging
maybe the tone of my voice would try to be kind of engaging but I don't know how how I could
further explain that but yeah I I think the tone might vary but not you know not by a great
amount on the other hand if I'm making a course for them which is to teach them about to
teach the marketing or something over there I would try to you know create a very variation in
tone I would try to relat it to examples or companies which they all know about and you know
like use tactics like these to make it more engaging for the students whilst also keeping the
videos very short
Hira: the point interesting that you pointed out Julie you know some amazing strategies to
make your course very more you know inclusive of all these pointers that you've highlighted
here but what I'm interested in knowing more about is that you know you kept referring to how
students might derive you know you splitting up courses into three courses and then you know
students receiving three certificates upon the completion of each module is there an you refer
to yourself and you compared it with your levels of satisfaction when you receive a certificate
and you know you feel satisfied by it this is more about you know your feelings of satisfaction I
want to know a little more about that how how do you view satisfaction and what how do you
define it
Misbah: basically um so satisfaction for me when I'm completing this courses would be but I
receive a certificate from a reputable University how who is making these courses and then I
can you know upload that certificate on my LinkedIn profile or I could put that in my CV and you
know I I feel if I you know even if I don't get to show off that certificate me realizing that you
know I completed these courses and I got you know three certificates instead of one it makes
me feel more it would make me feel good about myself that I went that you know I achieved
something in the end so yeah that's how I would define my satisfaction level when it comes to
these elearning courses do you know you define motivation as something to do with how useful
it is for your for you in the future how it will help you in the future yeah
Hira: so I'm I'm right on that right yeah yeah okay so moving onto you know something of a
different I thought I would want to know your take on you know how you perceive the course
that you're taking to be useful in the future or not see you and you know how does how do you
view that you know how how do you analyse what your called process behind you know it's not
actually not that let me think of a right word here that you can what is right for you and what is
not right for you in terms of you know courses that you take me
Misbah: I'm okay so I would personally take courses out of my own will those courses which no
have some sort of relevance to you know the corporate organisations and have some sort of
relevance to my CV as well for example I wouldn't go out of my way to learn to learn
psychology or to learn food science or something like that but your Excel again it's very relevant
to my degree and besides that marketing analytics since I am a pursuing a marketing major it I
do find it relevant to my to my CV as well as to my learning so are when selecting courses I do
keep that in mind and yeah if if there is a course usually there are a lot of courses on Coursera
with AC different topics but I usually don't go into courses regarding psychology all regarding
advanced finance because that's not only is that not of my I wouldn't say it's not of my interest
but rather it's it's not relevant to me for now so I yeah that's how I would select a right or
wrong course
Hira: in the end to sum it all up how would you just you know in let's say five to six sentences
how was your overall experience you know taking up this courses and interacting and E learning
environment
Misbah: Um I I think I would say that it elearning courses which are self face they are a good
alternative um you know do YouTube videos or something you wait let me rephrase that could
you please repeat your question I lost my train of thought thank you for asking me all these
questions
Hira: I'm trying to ask you here is I I want to know how your overall experience was while you
took these forces and yeah
Misbah: okay so yeah okay so my overall experience was good and bad the courses like the
finance Corps and the marketing analytics course it wasn't a good experience because I couldn't
complete those courses I thought he because even though the finance courses I did complete I
did not do it out of my own will and I didn't find it very relevant to me um besides that I think I
would rather instead of these elearning courses I think I would rather prefer if my teacher
would teach me online because you know with that there is some sort of feedback from me and
you know I could I could ask any questions if I have instead of you know in how in E learning
courses I have to re watch the videos again and again as I mentioned earlier that when I was
you know when I initially started that finance course I had to re watch the videos to try to
understand what they were saying an when I could not get it then I just you know like I instead
of watching the videos I just completed the quizzes which already had their answers an just you
know like it was for me I just I just wanted to get done with that course and I could not you
know I could not direct my my queries to anyone so I would when it comes to E learning I think I
would rather prefer live courses with a teacher rather than self paced courses about a really
important and a very crucial factor here which is you know feedback and you know prompt
response to a student's queries because I'm sorry I can't hear you
Hira: can you hear me now I can hear you well I'm what I'm saying is get you pointed out a very
crucial factor here which is feedback and prompt response to students query or a question
because I know I would want your input on this as well because what I feel is online courses
have discussion platforms where you can post your questions and you know other students
who are taking up that course will get back to you on that but then again that serves really long
process and you have to wait for you know exactly exactly that that's the difference when when
you're taking
Misbah: like these days I do take most of my classes online and if I have a question I directly I
direct them directed to the teacher I put it in the chat box and I get a very I get a prompt reply
for that so you know it isn't that you know like the teacher is teaching a concept and I have a
question and then he answers when he's teaching something different you know he's moved
onto the next thing and then that's when I understand you know like okay this is what that
previous thing meant so you know it doesn't break the flow of it because the teacher or even if
the teacher doesn't answer someone else who understood it that person answers in the chat
box so it's easier to understand
Hira: the courses in that game where the factors also did all these two factors feedback and
prompt response also play a crucial role in you determining go to continue a certain course or
not
Misbah: Oh yes definitely if I have the option if I have the option that instead of me watching
instead of mean doing an online course on Excel or something a teacher in my University
teachers that course to me online to I would definitely prefer the teacher instead of those self-
paced online courses because in that way I can direct my queries to them or I could and I would
get a prompt reply so that that's helpful in that aspect sting sing for us actually
Hira: thank you so much misbah the for you take the time to respond to us and you know to
answer our queries and help us again insight to such you know important topic here no
problem
Hira: you have any questions for us
Misbah: ah no not really
Hira: Thank you so much Misbah, I hope you have a great weekend take care
Misbah: you too take care
Hira: Allah Hafiz
