Sharing below an example of an application question

Q1 What is a recruiting yield pyramid. You are the HR Head of a company. Your company is losing
client contracts since open positions are not be hired. You realise that for every 10 candidates hired
you have to source 1200 resumes. Your yield is far below the industry. Analyse the situation to
assess possible causes and solutions. Make relevant assumptions in your answers. (these numbers
are little extreme to help you analyse better 😊) … Go ahead HR Head rock and make our day!

Ans 1. The recruiting yield pyramid has the following stages –

 1200 resumes sourced

 500 resumes shortlisted post screening – JD may not be accurate, ATS keywords may not be
accurate
 300 candidates attend interviews – recruiter connect with candidates is not effective
 50 candidates selected – interview process issues and interviewer training
 30 candidates accepted offers – sourcing issue, compensation ranges, recruiter training
 10 candidates joined – recruiter touch point between offer and candidate joining, Employer
brand
