Re: Invitation for the Club Hospitality - Fundraising Event

Dear sir/Madam,

On behalf of the President Rotaract Club of Mbarara we are very much honored to invite
you to be part of the hospitality-fundraising event which is organized to get together and
raise funds for the Basome -Rwariire Education Fund. The Club acknowledges your
immense impact in transforming the welfare of communities and greatly feels that your
presence at the event as resourceful

Basome-Rwarire education fund is a 5-year project created by the Rotaract club of

Mbarara under the docket of service provision specifically the basic education and
literacy category and was launched in September 2019. The purpose of the fund is to
provide access to innovative educational resources that support lifelong learning and
raise awareness on the importance of literacy and education in Rwarire Rwencwera in
Isingiro district,south western Uganda. While the plan of the club was to carry out a wide
range of activities after it’s launch, unforeseen circumstances related to the COVID 19
pandemic have limited us to few core ones that include: Construction of a water tank,
provision of learning &reading materials (textbooks) and painting of the school with
educative learning aids.

The event will is scheduled on 24th of October 2020, starting at 2pm till late at the
Rotary Children’s Peace Park in Mbarara City just opposite Lake View Hotel .
