Atoy’s Porkchop: The Best or Nothing

Atoy’s Porkchop is a Filipino-themed restaurant selling silog meals located near Caltex
San Antonio, City of Binan Laguna. They have many branches. It is one of the oldest restaurants
of silog meals here in Binan. It is, quite naturally, known for its Porksilog, and so this was what
we ordered. For all it is worth, it seems to be doing a great job because they had budget meals, so
students always go there to eat. Their family is a family of chefs, so I think, was the very reason
why Atoy’s Porkchop was built in the first place.

The problem is whatever the impressions of people about Atoy’s Porkchop cannot affect
their reputation because they have only minor issues and problems that can be solved really
quickly and with initiative. While the price of eating silog meals is affordable and very tasty,
their place, the ambiance of the place, is the primary reason why people go there, at times not in
their best mood to cooperate.

Upon entering the Atoy’s Porkchop Restaurant, one can see right away the inside of the
restaurant because they have no doors, they are an open area. You can see right away the prices
of their silog meals, which is very affordable. Aside from the Porksilog, For PHP 80, you get a
whole bangus. This particular dish shames other places when it comes to giving guests value for
their money. You can also opt to order any of their set meals minus the fried rice and egg, which
is pretty useful if you’re not the extra rice type of guy​. Compared to its neighbors, this is not a
bad place for silog meals, it is very cultured. Indeed, this seems like a good deal for both price
and satisfaction.

Compared to its neighbors, Atoy’s is very low-key and sparsely decorated. There’s no
air-conditioning either, just a couple of fans to cool the customers. The place has its regulars, and
judging from the crowd’s attire and the cars they left parked on the street, Atoy’s isn’t a stranger
to guys with six figure pay checks. For PHP 70, it’s a satisfying meal, and at par with the other
silog places in the neighborhood. I also like how the strip of fat and skin was made crunchy,
feeling them melt in my mouth was a treat.

When visiting other similar establishments, We usually don’t go for the Porksilog as my
default order. More often than not, WE find them a bit too oily. Atoy’s version, though, is
different. They manage to serve up a piece that doesn’t look like it swam fifty laps in cooking oil
before deciding to rest and take a breather on my plate. First and foremost, you don’t know if the
utensils we are using are clean and sterilized, it looks clean but we don’t know. Their food is
usually served cold, and they are self-service. Their silog dishes are tasty but sometimes their
food is not tasty, it is not consistent. Their place is open, so we can smell the bad air inside too.

If there is anything that the management of Atoy’s Porkchop should work on, it is their
food service, the place and the sterilization of utensils. To keep customers pouring in, the
management should exert effort on their food service so that customers don’t become exhausted.
The place should be a close area, so they can smell the aroma of the silog meals and don’t smell
something bad. The sterilization of utensils should be done, to serve the customers with a whole
heart and healthy lifestyle. They should put aside their wants, treat the customers special.
