INTRODUCTION

**WHAT IS ONLINE PARKING SYSTEM

The Online Vehicle Parking Reservation System (OVPRS) is a system that enables customers/drivers to
reserve a parking space.

It also allows the customers/drivers to view the parking status at the respected website or app and reserve
the required space for them for a particular period of time.

**OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT

The main objective of the proposed project is to provide a smart way for booking parking spaces online
for specific times at a specific time.

The project database manages all the information about parking slots,vehicles,duration,parking fess etc..

**PROBLEM STATEMENT

** Car parking is a major problem in urban areas in both developed and developing countries.

** Following the rapid incense of car ownership, many cities are suffering from lacking of car parking
areas with imbalance between parking supply and demand which can be considered the initial reason for
metropolis parking problems.

**EXISTING SOLUTION
** MECHANISED AND AUTOMATED PARKING SYSTEM

→ Mechanized and automated parking systems are mainly used if sufficient space is not available to
create the number of required or desired parking spaces.

→ In order to use the available space effectively, mechanized and automated parking systems are
designed only for the respective vehicle dimensions plus an additional reserve. Mechanized and
automated parking systems require driver briefings and as safe and intuitive user guidance as possible.
This is why mechanized and automated parking systems are primarily used for set groups of users - public
use of these systems is rare in Germany. If required, competent assistance (car park attendant, car park
caretaker, help desk, etc.) must be available.

reserving slots via the proposed system.

→ It saves users time in search of parking spaces available in such a long parking area.
