TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

Concept of Operation of the Existing System

With tourism development included in the province of Rizal, the main

promotion comes from gathering tourism stakeholders together with the

members of the organization with the main objective of conceptualizing strategies

in promotion of a more dynamic tourism business in the province. Aside from

that, best destinations are typically advertise through internet, flyers, brochures,

word of mouths and as well as program such as “Pasyal sa Rizal”, “Save

Hinulugang Taktak” and “Yes to Green”; showcasing what the province has to

offer in terms of places, products and services.In terms of how to avoid some

common modus operandi, policemen are giving out brochures to inform travelers.

Business Rules

Pasyal sa Rizal

1. Travelers can go to Rizal provincial tourism office.

2. They can choose what kind of exploration they would like to do this is

categorize by Type: Nature, History and Culture, Industrial Tourism,

Sports and Recreational Facilities, Shopping, Customs and

Traditions, Special Events, Health Wellness or Renewable Energy

3. They can also choose by Municipality: Angono, Antipolo City, Baras,

Binangonan, Cainta, Cardona, Jalajala, Morong, Pililla, Rodriguez,

San Mateo, Tanay, Taytay and Teresa.

4. After that, they can now go to the places they want to visit.

Objectives of the Existing System

The objectives of the Pasyal sa Rizal process are:

1. To provide information to travelers who wants to visit province of Rizal

 2. To guide travelers so that they will get lost when they arrive to their

destination

3. To showcase the hidden beautiful places such as Masungi Georeserve,

Regina Rica, Avilon Zoo to name a few.

Technical Background of the Existing System

The Rizal provincial tourism office uses printers to print all the brochures

and flyers needed to advertise the province of Rizal. Aside from that, they use5

computers, one is use for the designing the brochures and second one is for

maintaining and updates of their website and the other computers are used for

social mediapromotion.

These computers does not have the same specification. Intel® Core™ i5-

7400 Processor (6M Cache, up to 3.50 GHz),8GB RAM (Up to 32GB), AMD

Radeon HD R7/9000 Series 2GB Vcard 128bit and the hard disk space is500gb.

The operating system for all computers are windows 7 service pack 1.This is

specification is use for the designing and building the website of Rizal province.

The other computers are Intel® Core™ i3-5005U Processor 4GB RAM

(Up to 32GB), Intel HD Graphics and the hard disk space is 300GB.

Concept of Operation Proposed System

The main concept of the proposed system is to help promote the province

of Rizal by means of mobile application because people nowadays are so

addicted to mobile devices. Anytime, anywhere they always bring their gadgets

whereever they go.

Our proposed system will be much helpful to the tourism of the Rizal

province because instead of going to their office and ask the best places in Rizal

province, they can just download and open this application. Look for the best

destination and enjoy the view.

Technical Background of the ProposedSystem

The proposed application runs in any android version. It needs an internet

connection at first for downloading the application but after that you can open the

application even without an internet.

Minimum: Dual/Quad core chip, 512MB RAM.

Recommended: Quad/Octa core chip, 1GB RAM.
