THE PETITIONERS ON BAIL IN THE EVENT OF THEIR
ARREST IN CR. NO.3/2012 (PCR NO.1/2012) OF HASSAN
LOKAYUKTA POLICE, HASSAN, WHICH IS REGISTERED
FOR THE OFFENCE P/U/S 13(1)(c)(d) AND 13(2) OF
PREVENTION OF CORRUPTION ACT R/W SEC.409 AND 420
R/W SEC.34 OF IPC.

THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR ORDERS THIS DAY,


THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING :

ORDER

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the respondent-Lokayukta.

2. The petitioners seek anticipatory bail in respect of the case being registered against them and
others in Cr.No.3/12 for the offences punishable under Sections 13(1)(c)(d) and 13(2) of the
Prevention of Corruption Act r/w 409 and 420 r/w 34 of IPC.

3. Submission made by the petitioners counsel is that, A-1 has been granted anticipatory bail by this
court in Crl.P.No.2347/12 and therefore the petitioners also be extended the very same relief.

3. Having thus heard both sides and on a perusal of the order passed in respect of A-1 by this court
earlier, the petitioners can be granted anticipatory bail on the following conditions:

1. In the event of arrest of petitioners in connection with Cr.No.3/12, the petitioners shall be
released on bail by the arresting police officer on the petitioners furnishing personal bond for
Rs.25,000/- each with two sureties to the arresting police officer's satisfaction.

2. They shall not tamper with the evidence and shall not hamper the investigation.

3. They shall not give threat to the witnesses in any manner.

4. They shall appear before the jurisdictional police station on 15th and 30th of every month
between 8.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. and assist in the investigation.
