EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

‘Femi meal to go’ is a new business or services that owned by Aina Nur Aleesa binti
Rahmat and this business was based in Batu Caves, Selangor. Femi Meal to Go offered freshly
cooked pack food which is customers just have order and Femi Meal to Go will send it to them.
Femi Meal to Go delivered it straight to their houses and offices by using our courier services
which Lala Moves. There are about 7 types of meals which is 5 set of rice with variety chicken
and beef meals and 2 types of western food. Femi meals to go is the right places for those who
hungry but do not want to go out.

For the market potential, “Femi Meal to go” focuses on people who want to get their
good food in a fast way without need to cook and yet, delicious. This services was specially
served for people who are lazy to go to their kitchen for men or women who usually between
18 till 30 years old and for the one who are too busy too cooked like for moms who worked
and at the same time taking care of their family. “Femi meal to go also focuses on a busy
employee who doesn’t have enough time to cook at home because of they tired after a long day
at the office.

Next, for competitive advantage, we believe that in our surrounding and location will
have more than 2 or 3 competitors that served the same services as us because as we know
these kind of businesses which is in a food industries like our services now days was popular
among people according to the changing times. They served same services like us but in a
different way and choices.

1.2 Organization Logo/ Motto

A) LOGO DESCRIPTION

Based on the logo, our company choose to have these design the first one is the colour.
The owner of these business choosing combination of 3 colours which are gold, white and a
black for the logo. The main colours which is gold bring out, love, compassion, courage, and
passion for preparing foods and make the customers happy and satisfied with our services. It
is because I think these colours resemble our business for wealth and little bit black and white
was my favourite colour combination. There is a wording of “Est 2020” is because this business
or services it was their starting up year for the services. Next, the appliances for cooking are
resemble as this company are served food to the customers. I have inserted our social media
account and number phone so that people with aware and know where to find us.

2.0 PRODUCT/ SERVICE DISCRIPTION

Brand
For brands, Femi Meal to Go are a business that provides our own food. It all starts with
buying and choosing raw ingredients and others for to put in our cooking. The menu in our
business has about 5 different types of meals example, set of white rice and turmeric fried
chicken as well as 2 western food options. In order to produce a good product, all our product
was supported by several other brand. Femi meals to go basically are using all their raw
ingredients from Mygroser. Example for the brand of the sugar that we used is from CSR. They
served very fresh and good quality raw ingredients. All these recipes are our own and Femi
Meals to Go cook them with wholeheartedly and keep the environment clean and keep them
fresh and delicious when delivered to customers.

Design
Next, for the design of our product, Femi Meals to Go choose to put our logo and turn
it as a sticker and becoming as the main design on the packaging. Femi Meals to Go choose a
plain lunch boxes which is the shape itself was rectangular. It makes our job is easier because
of the shape of the lunch boxes, it easier for us to arrange the food in the box.

Packaging
For the packaging, Femi Meals to Go will be using Takeaway Brown Kraft Paper Lunch
Boxes from StarNet Food Packaging as packaging for our foods. We choose these lunch boxes
because it is the best option for online food ordering like us as they function to keep food warm
and does not leak easily when dispatching meals to customers. Kraft brown or recycled brown
paper material is available and both are eco-friendly. We choose Takeaway Brown Kraft Paper
Lunch Boxes packaging in size of large so that we could fill it with our rice set and their meals
also the western in the lunch boxes without the need to worry about the size or if the packaging
is too full and will cause a leak.

Labelling:

After that, labelling. Femi Meals to Go will label our food packaging with an expiry
date or best used before labelling so that the customers are alert with their food condition before
they eat it. We also will label the name of the food on top of the box of our packaging so
customers will know what food is in the box without need to open and check the lunch box.
Last, Femi Meals to Go logo will be at the centre of our packaging and there is our official
phone number and social media which Facebook and Instagram on the logo.

3.0 MARKETING PLAN

3.1 Customers (Target Market)

For our target market, We have 3 different type of customer segment or target market
for our business which is the first one are Young Professional and Students. Femi Meals to Go
believe that this group nowdays is busy untill they didnt take care of their stomach just because
they are too lazy to buy food outside nor cooking by themselves. The young adults and student
in their 20s till 30s who are employed in a profession or white-collar occupation and students
who are too busy with their assignment. Sometimes, they didnt have enough time to go out
whenever they have time either its a lunch time or their free time. Next is busy employees.
They didnt have enough time to cook or eat because they are too busy to do so. Our last target
market is family with children. Families are a good target group since they have a busy and
stressful everyday life. Parents might not always have the time to cook because maybe both of
them are working and have too many work either weekdays or weekend. Femi Meals to go
believe that they are good target market.

3.1.1 GEOGRAPHIC SEGMENTATION

Based on geographic segmentation, i choose to rent a shop at Batu Caves, Selangor. It


is because, the area is near with offices and residental area also schools. I believe that Femi
meals to go can attract customers in that area because there is a lot potential customers there.
Our business center is also are not too far from the city of Kuala Lumpur. There is tons of
potential customer which is our target market all around the city.

Based on our physiographic segmentation, our customers is among 18 and above and
from the both genders which is female and male. Femi Meals to Go served these people and
trying to fulfill hungry tummy.

3.3 Pricing Strategies:

For pricing strategies, i have choose cost-plus pricing strategy for Femi Meals
to Go. I choose this strategy because i think this strategy is the most flexible among
others based on our business. I can set prices range according from all of the costs that
go into a set of meals, including the fixed costs, such as the wages that are paid to the
cooks and staffs, the rent, and the utility bills. We have determined that for 1 set of rice
with different type of meal for RM10 and RM12 for western food excluding the delivery
charges. Based on the profit that we get, the profit margin is then added on top and we
will calculate based on all of our costs.

Compare to our pricing policy with one of our major competitors, is Jom Makan
Place. Their price for were fixed but are not included with all other cost like rent,
utilities and salaries for their staff that can make they resulting in more loss than the
profits they earn.

Femi Meals to Go will be a manufacturer straight to the consumer which is the


customers itself. Our company cooked and prepare from scratch all the meals by us
including for the packaging. All our ingredients come from Mygroser that provide us fresh
vegetable and meat. Me as a manager are responsible to make sure that all the cooking
process and preparing for the food is going well and systematic from the beginning.

Femi Meals to Go the consumer is our customers itself. They are the one who make an
order, choice, and payment for our food. They just must contact us through our social
media, website, or phone call to make and order and payment.

3.5 PROMOTION

First, Femi Meals to Go use advertising as our strategy and methods for our
business. We choose Social Media Promotion strategy. Social media websites such as
Facebook and Instagram offer our companies a way to promote products and services in a more
relaxed environment. This also can help to improve relationship between the company and the
customers, which in turn presents a more appealing and familiar image of our company. It is
an approaches to bring our products to the customers by using the adverstisement itself because
Femi Meals to Go are tryong to attract our customers online by using everyone bestfriend,
social media.

Femi Meals to Go use facebook and Instagram platform to grow our business empire
by advertising about our business on our social media. We design online poster about Femi
Meals to Go products and post it online because Femi Meals to Go believe that, this strategy
will help raise awareness raise people’s attention about our business among the customers.
Customers also can give and put their feedback, comments on what have they received before
in the comment section. They also are able to chat with our management in order want to ask
about something. Femi Meals to Go think that by using these platform, it is more cheaper rather
than making a banner or broucher and we print it. This is because, customers will never
remember and will forget about it. But for online advertising, people nowdays keep up looking
at their social media and all decision made by their fingertips. If they are hungry, they just
looking and find for food online.
Femi Meals to go will create our own social media account which is Facebook and
Instagram in order to advertise all our meals and will add other information about our product
at the account. Femi Meals to Go will be using poster to create awareness to people and post it
at resedential home facebook groups and of coure at our main page.

For instagram, Femi Meals to Go will post to the stories and at our instagram main page. Femi
Meals to Go have our own website that we do promote our business there too. Femi meals to
go also have our own business card that will be inserted with the food.

4.5. Compensation and benefit

For the compensation and benefit, I will provide my staffs for EPF and SOCSO for
them. This is necessary based on Employees’ Social Security Act,1969 and Employees’ Social
Security (General) Regulations, 1971 are applicable to all industries having one or more
employees. All their salaries will be cutting for the EPF and SOCSO payment for every month
and me as their manager also owner, is responsible for all matters relating to services and
payment of wages. This will provide benefits for them for medical purposes, cash benefits and
after they retired and pension .

Next, for the benefit. I will provide my staffs for free foods every day. it is because I as
a manager want my workers to work hard and focused in order to maintain our company
quality.
